I love my family!

This last week on Wednesday me and Preston went to Show Low to visit my Mom, Tanner, and Courtney! We stayed with my Grandma and Grandpa Porter. My Grandma just had her knee replaced last week on the 10th and she is doing great! Shes still pretty much bed ridden but shes starting to be able to get up by herself and she is definantly proud of it! haha! We mostly just stayed and visited her since she was stuck home, but i had a great time. It was so nice to just relax and not have to run around so much. We did go and visit my Grandma Bigelow in Snowflake, she is doing really good as well and it was so nice to go and see her. She took us all out to lunch at Eva's and it was sooo good! On Friday I got to go and meet Brandi and Minette and their adorable little kids at Addi J's. I loved to be able to sit and visit with them, I never get to see my old friends and it made me miss them a ton. Thanks so much girls for meeting up with me!! Then on Saturday we all drove back to the valley to meet up with Corinne! We went and saw New Moon and I actually really liked it. I think it was a great improvement from the first and Preston was such a great baby through the whole thing! We also took my mom to the famous mexican place and she loved it as well. mmm mmm makes me hungry just thinking about it. haha. I honestly just love spending time with my family. And Preston just loves all of them soo much as well. I always worry that he might forget them cause we dont get to see them very often but he never does. He loves his Grandma to death and his Uncle Tanner is just soo good with him, i know preston is gonna grow up thinking he is just the coolest! I seriously cant wait untill Christmas so I can go to Utah and see them again. And most of all to see my Dad, I havent seen him since Aug. and its pretty sucky. I love him so much and I hope he knows how much we all miss him. Christmas will be the best! I was so bad at taking pics, which i never am so im pretty disappointed with myself but heres some...a couple are from my phone so they arent the greatest quality. Grandpa Porter and Preston!

Weekend Fun

This weekend went by way too fast haha i cant believe its already gone. We didnt do anything really out of the ordinary...weve or should i say spencer has been working really hard on our front and back yards. I really should have taken pictures of what they looked like when we moved in. It was COVERED in weeds and everything was dead...but we got the sprinklers up and working again and our winter grass is growing and things are looking SO much better! We do need to get a few different plants to replace a couple of dead ones and we are going to start working on a garden...which I am so excited about! One of our windows opens up to the side of our house which is just a block wall so i cant wait to open my window and look at a pretty garden! Were going to have tomatoe vines up the block with wooden boxes and lots more...i really cant wait!

Debbie was singing at a charitable event this weekend called "Hope Arising" that we went to. Preston was not nice so i had to hold him outside the whole time but i sat and visited with the mother of the women who put the thing together and she filled me in on what hope arising was all about. Her daughter lost 2 of her children and was really looking for some way she could help others so she wouldnt be thinking so much of herself and her losses. And someone took her to Africa to Ethiopia to show her how these people were living. These people have to walk miles everyday just to get water. Usually the children go and they leave very early in the morning with huge buckets, usually 2 kids to a bucket, with a stick through the handle so they can both carry it home. They go once in the morning and again at night and again it is miles away. The kids are tired from having to do this everyday so alot of them dont go to school or probably dont get alot out of school. Their hygiene is horrible because of this water problem and alot of people are dying. They cant have any kind of hospital or medical help because there would be no way to sanitize. Needless to say they need help. I know times are hard right now, were feeling it just like everyone else is but i dont know anyone who is living in those kind of situations. We are all so blessed. So if you would like please donate whatever you can to www.hopearising.org all they are asking for is a dollar so if you would like to donate but dont have a dollar to spare please let me know and i will gladly give it to you.

We had tithing settlement last night and the message he wanted to share was about how much our Heavenly Father loves us. How do we show him how much we love him? Keeping the Commandments and Serving others. There are so many in need of help right now and i hope we can all keep that in mind this holiday season!

On another note My mom and sister are going to show low this week! I seriously cant wait to see them! Ive always wanted to live in Utah but they were supposed to wait for me before they moved there! haha! Its hard to have my parents living far, im a mommy and daddys girl and i love spending lots of my time with my family so its been hard only seeing them once a month if im lucky. The move was definantly the best thing for them right now and i am glad they went but we do miss them a TON here in Arizona. I definantly cant live this far away from my family for forever so someday we will live close again and thats a promise!

Preston is definantly growing out of this swing...but he loves it soo much so i dont know what im going to do. :(

Preston keeps getting more and more fun! Yesterday i was cleaning up a very messy kitchen and so i put preston in his little car while i worked. I looked behind me and he had found my apron and was playing with the ties, wrapping it around his face and eating them haha soo funny. Well like ten min. later he had moved himself over to the sliding glass door to the curtains! I would yell "preston where are you" and hed stick his head out from the curtains and smile soo big! I just love how happy he normally is. He just loves to play and is learning so much. I cant believe how big he is. But anyways heres some pics of us playing yesterday. :)

Happy Birthday Spencer!

Spencer is 24! Happy Birthday baby! We had alot of fun yesterday...Spencer did have to work that morning but Me, Preston, and Ron met Spencer out on the lake. Spencer did really good at wakeboarding, Preston very much enjoys being on the lake, and I learned how to drive the boat and pull a wakeboarder. It was kinda stressful but Im getting it. :) We then went and had dinner at Carabbas...it was SO good. I love the chicken marsala...mmmm...and they brought ice cream out for his birthday! Then we headed back over to his parents, they always make a cake for everyones birthday, and it is always a VERY good cake. Oh and before we went home spencer had to stop at Joes BBQ because they will give you free food for your birthday haha so he took that home and ate it this morning for breakfast. Spencer got a new wakeboard and wakeboarding boots, 3 pairs of jeans, and a really cute book from Preston. I cant explain to you how important you are in my life. You honestly are my everything and i would be nothing without your love and support. I cant thank our Heavenly Father enough that he gave me you to keep for forever. I promise you that I will always live my life the way we promised eachother we would when we married. 6 Months

I cant believe my baby is 6 months old today. It honestly feels like i had him yesterday. Where does the time go? If these next 6 months go by just as fast im going to cry....I really wish he could stay my lil baby forever. He is getting to be such a fun little guy though...me and spencer have soo much fun playing with him and watching him learn new things. He is a very smart little boy and sooo happy when hes getting played with and has ALL the attention. I honestly couldnt love him anymore than i do! He is such a blessing and joy to our lives, he makes me and spencer even more happy then we thought we could ever be. In the hospital...One day old

• Still has a natural mohawk...only grows hair on top of his head and hardly any on the sides

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! Yesterday was soo much fun, we hung out with Spencer at the race track, we went and saw Jani and her house and we went and did some shopping with her, and then we got dressed up and passed out candy! Preston was the cutest lion ever! His chubbiness just filled out his costume and made him look even chuckier haha. I loved it! We had soo many trick or treaters...i bought 8 bags of candy and we ran out! Next year im gong to have to buy a ton! Look at those cheeks and that double chin!

Car Races

Yesterday morning me and preston went to go visit spenc and his dad out at the race track. This time of year is their "racing" season...Ron said instead of having a hunting season they have a racing season haha. Preston has never been out there before and im not sure if he liked it all that much...its just really noisy and kinda stinky from exhaust but it was fun to be there for a while and visit and watch the guys race their cars. They only had 2 mustangs out, the '67 and the black cobra. I was trying to get a good picture of the two of them racing side by side but i was horrible at it and i only got one and its not that great. But they had a lot of fun!
