Grand Canyon...

Yesterday we spent our day at The Grand Canyon. Me and Spencer both hadn't been there since we were little so we didn't remember it all that well. We had a lot of fun! Preston was surprisingly very good...he wanted to do a lot of walking by himself and he liked to go his own way haha. It was pretty warm though...I was hoping for colder weather but oh well!

The views are amazing and I don't think I've heard as many different languages as I did there! You think Disneyland is bad...haha not even close! And it was way busy for a Thursday....we were debating on going Thursday or Saturday and I'm so glad we went Thursday...I cant imagine how busy the weekend would be.

Of course Preston is bawling in our only family picture haha! We ended up having a great day that really wore us out!

3rd Anniversary...

Yesterday was our 3rd Anniversary...wow does time fly. We ended up going out the night before to the Mesa Temple and then to Texas Roadhouse while my sister watched Preston. It was so nice to go out by ourselves...thanks Corinne for watching Preston! ( She even did my dishes...seriously could she get any better! ) Well Wednesday morning we packed and then went to Flagstaff, we decided on the way that wed take a little detour through Sedona. I have never been there before and it was such a pretty town! Everything is nice and pretty...I loved it! I could live there for sure....we stopped and got lunch and had a picnic. I ended up taking like no pictures except this one with Preston wearing Spencers sunglasses. 

When we got into Flagstaff we got some grocerys and then came here and just relaxed! Preston LOVES the weather here and wants to play outside all the time. Heres a couple more pics of them ( Preston and Spencer ) playing!

Our lazy monday...

Bath Time = Fun...EVERYTIME!

Yesterday I seriously never left my house. I don't even think I stepped outside to check the mail. I knew it was hot and I knew it would take me an hour to cool down once I stepped foot outside my door. So we stayed in and we hardly did anything at all. We played and made messes...I finally got my blog private and updated the way I wanted. I also made my Moms blog so she can start posting things about them and my siblings. Court starts volleyball and I'm devastated that I am missing out on her games and watching her play. So my mom said shed for sure start taking lots of pics and videos and post them. I'm way excited.

Well because we didn't get much done yesterday I have a TON to do today. I have to get my entire house clean, pack to go to flagstaff tomorrow morning, and get myself lookin good for a date with my hubby tonight for our 3rd Anniversary. Were going to the temple and to dinner. I'm really excited! So I better get off this dang computer and get things done! :)

A fat lip and Nursery...

Saturday morning just after I had gotten Preston out of bed we went into the kitchen to get him some milk. As I was pouring the milk, Preston decided to try and get into the little highchair that hooks onto a chair. It was sitting on the floor and the tray was connected. Needless to say he couldn't get himself in and fell forward slamming his poor face into the tile. I ran over noticing his mouth was bloody and cleaned him up. I was so afraid he did something to his front teeth since they were just covered in blood but luckily his teeth were fine but he bit his lip pretty dang bad. There is also a little mark on the side of his nose, above his lip and his lip is definitely fat. Poor baby! He doesn't get hurt very often so this was hard for me...

I am in nursery and so I have been taking Preston with me lately. He's not quite old enough to be in there but its kind of dumb for us to both miss all the classes ( because if spencer has him hes just chasing him around in the halls ). So he's been with me and he's been doing pretty well. His favorites are snacks and playing with toys...he has a hard time sitting still for lesson and coloring time and for singing time haha. 

The other kids like him...until he hits or throws a fit...we've got some work to do in those areas. But I actually love the time he gets to play with others. This sounds mean but I like that hes learning to cope when another kid steals his toy or knocks him over. He's a little spoiled and a little rotten so i think this is REALLY good for him. Isn't he adorable in his little shirt and tie? haha I LOVE it!

Nakedness...

Yesterday as I was paying some bills on the computer Preston was running around from the room I was in to the other few rooms that aren't locked in the house. He came in the computer room and tried getting into one of his cars and proceeded to get stuck. I got him out and carried him into the living room and turned on Dora the Explorer and then realized he was butt naked. His diaper was gone. So before he peed all over my furniture I grabbed him and put a new diaper on him. We then searched the house for this missing diaper. It seriously took me like 5 min to find it hiding in my shoe box. Haha!

As I was searching for this old diaper he managed to get himself out of the new diaper and loved just running around free! 

So now that hes my little diaper Houdini, I guess he'll have to start wearing clothes more often haha!

Courts gone...

Court had to go home today...that means back to normal life for me. Ive fallen behind on cleaning, laundry, bill paying, exercising, eating good, and probably anything else important haha. I'm really bad about just giving myself any excuse for a vacation and then taking it to the extreme ( hence not doing anything but things i wanted to do ). But it was SO much fun having my sister here for a week. I love her to death and wish so bad we could spend time like that together all the time. But I am extremely grateful for the time we got this summer! Court, Corinne, and I went and had girls night for Courts last night here and we went and saw Charlie St. Cloud. It was good but a little different... 

We seriously barely made it to the airport in time for her to catch her flight...this was right before she got on the plane...

We miss you already Court!!!

Oh and this is the cute school bag we made for her last week! I have plans on updating my long lost craft blog on some of the things ive been up to....hopefully I'll do that soon and keep it up....ha wish me luck!
