Baby Blocks...

I made these name blocks for my friend Jani's baby shower today. I wanted to make them a little different from just ordinary blocks...

This is what I came up with. I saw some frame like stuff like this on another blog and thought it would be super cute as name blocks too!

Okay so obviously she is naming her little boy Jett! All she told me was that she was doing her baby's room in bright colors so I hope this goes and that she likes them!!!

Cousins...

I watched little Kamden this morning and I tried taking a picture of them together...I wasn't very successful.

Oh well...I'll try again next time :). 

Preston was a BIG helper today and when Kam would spit out his paci he would be the first one to run over and help him. Preston also helped with getting his diapers...boy was he excited that Blues Clues was on Kams diapers! He also gave Kamden a little kiss on the forehead. I can't tell you how happy and relieved it makes me feel that Preston is so sweet to the "baby"! He loves his cuz!

I'm so glad when daddy comes home, glad as I can be!...

Preston knows about the time that Spencer should get home and he asks for him and cries at the door because he isn't quite there yet. Every once in a while he gets too antsy and we wait for him in the front yard. 

Once he gets here Spenc is really good about giving him lots of attention. The other night Spenc got home at a decent hour ( meaning before dark ) so we took a walk to the park.

Preston LOVES it. 

Preston's favorite thing to do at the park is probably just climb and run down the grass hills. 

We LOVE it when daddy comes home!

Long limbs...

Boy is this kid growing. Look how long his legs and arms look...

 I watched my neighbors little boy yesterday for about 45 min while she ran to do an errand. He was about 4 months and he is one little cutie! Me and Preston brought out his old car walker for him to play in and we both played with him trying to get him to smile. Preston was sweet. But he also did everything in his power to get all of my attention on him. I got to experience ( a 45 min ) life of 2 kiddos. And it was bitter sweet. I loved it but i also noticed i have a lot to learn. Sharing attention, being 2 places at once, holding two crying children and keeping sane might be a challenge. But a challenge I can't wait to be a part of!

Lately when I want to take a picture of Preston he does this...

He's mad, throws a fit, and grabs the camera. He wants to take his OWN pictures now...

So yesterday he got a hold of my camera and took a BAJILLION pictures. Here are some of my favorites...

He LOVES taking pictures and then laughing at what he took...I may let him play with my old camera :) Pretty good for a 23 month old I must admit!

Oh Monday...

Another week has come and gone. We haven't had a whole lot going on lately but I have a feeling that we will here shortly. More on that later ;) 

Today's to-do list is a whole LOT of cleaning. By the time the weekend is over my house looks like its been hit by a tornado. BLAH. I also have a fun project I'm making for my friends baby shower this weekend...I think I'm loving it so far, can't wait to show pics!

This boy is getting more wild by the minute. He learns things so quickly and last week he learned how to get himself completely out of the house on his own. To make a story short...it ended with me running outside in my towel to get him. Yes...horrible, embarrassing, and I was not going to do that again! We bought new locks for the doors that he would not be able to reach.

I'm also still hanging out with my Beehive girls! I just love them more and more all the time. They remind me of how fun life was when I was their age. Such cute girls!

Hide and Seek...

Preston's new game is hide and seek...though he usually runs out of his hiding place before we can "seek" him. He's just so eager to be "found"!
