Black River...

Okay so I didn't go on the Black River trip so I can't tell you exactly how it went but all I know is that Spencer said he had a GREAT time. My dad and his family have been fishing at black river ever since I can remember. They go every year around May and it is an all guys trip. My dad has taken me there a couple of times and all I can say is that you definitely catch fish. Spenc said he caught about 140 fish the 2 days he was there. Of course he let most of them go and they would fry the rest for dinner at nights. They catch mostly bass and some cat fish. Spencer took his old mission camera with him and took some pictures...

I guess there were caves up that mountain, you can see a bunch of guys climbing up

This is my brother Tanner on the right and one of my cousins with him, they are jumping in the river :)

And heres a picture of Tanner at camp

Okay so they always come back with stories and some scary scenarios. Sometimes its bears but in this case its snakes. Spencer was talking to my dad while he was fishing one day and as they were talking they heard someone fall behind them. When they looked back they saw my cousin Landon which is about 9 years old. He pointed to a rattle snake that was seriously inches from Spencers foot. After Landon fell it started to rattle and they got out of there quick. Landon says that it lunged at him but no one else saw. The weird thing is that it didn't rattle the entire time Spencer was standing near it and he said he was there for a good 10-15 minutes. Could you imagine if someone got bit by a rattle snake out there? They are at least 2 hours away from any hospital. So scary. They also don't have any service out there so we don't hear from anybody the whole entire time they are there. I hate it cause I worry and I always have a ton to tell Spenc by the end of the day but Spencer said it is such a relief not to have his phone with him. The day before he left he had 70 phone calls. With work and everything else he is on the phone a TON. He loved the escape and really I can't blame him, I'm sure I'd love it as well. I'm so glad they had fun and more importantly I'm glad they are all home safe and sound!!!

Grandma with her Grandsons!...

Okay so we didn't just play in the water all weekend...we definitely did some shopping, played games and ate out! We had a lot of laughs and some baby tantrums as well haha. Gosh I say this every time but why can't my family live closer? Oh the good times we would have all the time!

Here is a pic of my mom and her two grandsons! Preston is 2 and Kam will be 4 months in about a week! This is the closest to a smile that Preston would give us...little stinker! Miss you guys already! Hopefully August comes quick!

Swimming at Basha...

I've been such a bad blogger! I will start being good again! :)

We had SO much fun this weekend. My parents were able to come here, the boys went on a fishing trip to Black River ( more on that later ) and us girls stayed at my house and had a girls weekend. On Friday and Saturday we went out to Basha High School to their swim center and we all had a blast.

Preston loved the area that had water squirting out of the ground...

They have a lazy river that we all loved...

We swam and got some sun...I was the only one who got too much sun and burned ( curse my white skin! ) So glad Preston got dads skin and tans soooo easily, I hope all our kids do!

And here is me and my baby. He really did have a ton of fun, don't let the " i hate taking pictures face " fool you!

#13- Honeymoon

Where did you go? Was it good? ;) haha...j/k

For our honeymoon we went up to Spencer's parents place in Flagstaff. They had just bought it right before we were hitched so neither of us had been there before. It's a really nice big place and it was sooo fun to have it all to ourselves for a few days. It was also nice that we had a kitchen so that we could cook some of our meals instead of eating out the entire time. We went up to snowbowl, walked around a space observatory, shopped :), went to the movies, ate out and LOTS of other fun things that are really just none of your business ;) haha! We really had such a fun time!

I love you Spencer...

#12- favorite part of the day and least favorite part of the day

 Can be anything.

Okay I'm guessing this means my favorite and least favorite part of my "wedding" day. I'm gonna share my least favorite first. Me and Spenc both got letters from the temple explaining what time to be there and what not, well we both thought that it would take the bride longer to get ready so I would just get there first. Well...they don't let you go back or anything until the both of you are there. So I called Spencer that morning ( while I was at the temple ) and he was just eating breakfast taking his sweet little time. I told him our situation and he said he'd leave that second. Well I had to just sit and wait for him to get there...some of my family started showing up and they were all kinda laughing saying "oh did he stand you up" they were kidding but really I didn't think it was that funny. I also had the little temple workers telling me if he didn't get there soon we'd miss our time slot and they were full all day so we would not be able to get married that day. It was stressful and embarrassing. But luckily Spencer came running in just in time and we were married. Yay haha!

Ummm my favorite part of the day...honestly I pretty much loved every part of that day. When we first got sealed, looking at my husbands face and how happy we both were. Our luncheon was amazing and we had tons of family and friends telling stories and giving us advice. It was really touching and meant a lot. The reception was just what I wanted and we had a ton of family and friends there as well. But I think my favorite part of the day was after the sealing and the pictures outside the temple. Me and Spenc left the temple together and we were probably the happiest we had ever been. We were finally married and it was such an incredible feeling. I just really wish I could relive that day.

#11- Your song and/or the first song you danced to at your wedding

share a music video or lyrics if you can!

Um we never really had a song...we both liked the song Brass Bed at the time and that's what we used for the last part of our video so if anything else I guess that would be the closest thing to "our song". Here's our little wedding video that Spencer's Aunt Jill made for us :). I seriously teared up and cried while watching it...we were so in love ( not that we aren't now haha ) but that engaged/newlywed time of our lives was soooo fun and to be honest I kinda miss it. I think it's time me and Spenc get away and spend some time alone... ;)

#9- The Reception and #10- The cake/food...

where was it at? show us some pictures! what day did you get married?

We were married August 11, 2007 and had 2 receptions. The first one was the day before we were married at my parents house in Show Low and the other was in Gilbert the day we were married. Again my book is lost so I can't show you any pics of the Show Low reception...but it was super cute and a lot of fun :). We were married in August...in the valley...boy was it a hot day. We had the reception at the church building close to the condo that we were moving into.

I love food. So tell me about what you had at your wedding!

I hardly remember what we ate...I am sure Spencer does though. I know we had little sandwhiches that were really good and fruit and veggies. As soon as we got there we ate really quick before our "quests" arrived, we hadn't eaten anything all day and we were seriously starving so the food tasted divine to us haha! We also had a make your own sparkling soda station thing that was my favorite. Then there was my cake. It looked exactly how I wanted it to! Soooo cute! Funny thing is I didn't know only the top was real cake so when we went to cut it we cut the bottom first and it wasn't cake haha. It was funny but when we did find cake it tasted real good!
