Lylah Kay Coon...

She is here!!! And we really couldn't be more in love with her! She is such a perfect little girl. It all started Wednesday...I REALLY wanted her to come and so I sat and bounced on the excersise ball pretty much all night and I had gotten a pedicure earlier that day ( rubbing your feet is supposed to help bring on labor, so Ive heard ). Well I woke up at 1 am thursday morning ( a normal bathroom wake up time haha ) and started feeling some contractions. I timed them at about 7-8 min apart and tried going back to sleep but they were really making my lower back ache so I couldn't sleep. I started timing them again and they kept getting closer and closer and started hurting me more and more. So at about 3 am I woke up my mom and we went to the hospital. When I got there my contractions were REALLY starting to hurt and I knew that this had to be it. I was a 3+ and after about 40 min I was at a 4+. I called Spencer and told him to get on a flight and to hurry cause this sweet girl was on her way! He had booked a flight to come here the night before for sunday ( i didnt know this ) and so luckily he was able to switch it and he would land in Utah at 9 in the morning. I got my epidural at about 6 that morning and it seriously couldn't have come any later. CONTRACTIONS HURT haha. I was seriously in pain and nausous and getting really dehydrated. Luckily it kicked in fast and it was smooth sailing from there. When Spencer got on the plane I was dialated to a 5. All my nurses and my doctor were so sweet and really wanted Spencer to be able to make it so they didn't check me or break my water until he got to the hospital. My dad, Tanner, and Preston picked Spencer up at the airport and came straight there. They let Preston come in and say hi to me and then they left. I was telling everyone for about the last 2 hours or so that I was feeling a TON of pressure so right after that my doctor came in to check and break my water. He was like, you are ready for sure! I was fully dialated and she was ready to come right then. I only had to push 3 times and she was here :), 15 min after Spencer had arrived. It was such a blessing that he was able to make it, I really think she was waiting just for him.

Look at that chub! She was born at 10:36 am on September 15, 2011. She weighed 7 pounds 4 ounces and was 18 inches long.

First pictures with mommy, daddy and grammy!

This was when she was in the nursery with Spenc and they were getting her cleaned up and looking all pretty.

When we walked by the nursery we could see Spencer and Lylah and Preston was SO excited that he could see them and was saying dada and baby and laughing. Spenc tried taking a picture...I wish you could see how excited he was though. It was seriously adorable.

Preston just LOVES her. He was so excited to see baby and was even giving her kisses. Lets hope he stays that way :).

Grandpa and Lylah...

Lylah and Mommy....I LOVE her sooooo much!

She was wide awake that night and making faces...she is just adorable :)

We are back at my parents house now just enjoying our sweet little baby. We are planning on heading back home to Arizona next sunday. Little Lylah has lots of Arizona family to meet! We are so excited to show her off haha. I LOVE my family. I really couldn't be happier :).

Long overdue...

Wow its been a while since I posted. Here is a little update on us. Last month on the 18th I had a doctors appointment and was already dialated to a 2 and my doctor had suggested that if I was going to go to Utah I had better go then just to make sure that I would make it in time. Well its almost been a month later and NO BABY. I'm now dialated to a 3 and my belly has definantly dropped and I'm trying to be patient while waiting for her to decide to come. Its been fun and nice to be able to spend so much time with my family but I hate all the time that I am spending away from Spencer. It's been hard and I'm ready to have my family all together and to have my hubby back! We are all SO ready to meet this sweet little girl. Here are some pics that we took on my sister and moms cameras while weve been here.

Preston loves playing with his Uncle Tanner...the weather is SO nice here and weve been playing in the backyard and at parks a lot!

We took Chloe on a walk with us to the park, Preston HAD to be the one to walk her haha. He LOVES her to death but we are still working on being nice to Chloe all the time. Luckily Chloe is the sweetest dog in the world, I don't think any other dog would put up with him.

We headed out to the Mountains one Saturday to try and find some rasberry bushes that we used to pick rasberrys from when we were little and my dad and tanner also tried to do a little hunting. When we were on the mountain on the dirt roads I let Preston out of his car seat and he Loved being able to sit on all our laps and stick his head out the window.

Here are the "boys" looking for deer...it was so gorgeous where we were at. I love the scenery Utah has to offer :)

This is Prestons new Nike outfit that Grandma and Grandpa got him...notice how badly he needs a haircut...haha.

He loves picking flowers...

And this is the most recent picture I have of my belly. We took this about 2 weeks ago. I know its blurry and I think I have a better one on my camera but I will have to upload those another time. Oh and notice I did cut Prestons hair while weve been here and he looks sooo cute :).

Okay well I will try and be better about posting...I'm guessing I won't post again until baby girl is here. I have an induction date set for the 19th so in one week exactly, I'm SO hoping she decides to come this week though. I'll try and post all about it and all about her as soon as I can. I can't tell you how excited I am to meet her!!!!! Oh and we pretty much decided on a name...actually my sweetest hubby has said I can name her the name that I am in love with. He is still border line but I'm hoping by the time she comes and he sees her that he'll love it as much as I do. Some people know already but I'm not going to put it on here until shes here just in case. But its adorable and I cant wait to announce it and show her off haha!

Wish me luck!!!

Our Date and 34 weeks...

Last night me and Spenc went on a date for our 4th Anniversary. We hadn't decided on a place to eat before we left and we couldn't agree to anything haha! We ended up going to Macaroni Grill and then to Cold Stone for dessert. It was yummy :) then we went and saw the new Planet of the Apes movie. Spencer liked the movie and I thought it was okay. I think my biggest problem was that I was SO uncomfortable! This baby girl likes to dig into my right ribs and it is so hard to just sit...I need reclining seats to watch movies in haha! But I had so much fun just being with my hubby. He really is the best man I know and I love that he's mine forever.

This is us in our movie...I look fat but Spenc looks good!

I am also 34 weeks now! Only 6 more weeks until this baby girl of ours is due! I can't believe its coming so quick...I'm excited and a little nervous at the same time. Well I took some pics of the belly yesterday so here they are...

Preston stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Coon while we were on our date. He sat and (pretended) to drive cars with Grandpa, played on a slip n slide with Aunt Kristy and rode on horses with Grandma and played with Spencer and his brothers old matchbox cars. He had so much fun and I'm so grateful that we live close to them and that Preston can spend some fun time with them. They always make it so fun for him and I'm so grateful :). I'm also grateful that when we went and picked him up Preston wanted to just give me hugs and was really happy to see us. I love that he loves me. He's my favorite little guy. I LOVE being a mom and a wife to Spencer.

4 years ago today...

I married my best friend. Can you believe we chose August in the valley to get married. It was SOOO hot and you can totally tell in this picture of us haha. I honestly didn't care one bit, I wanted to be married to Spencer so bad that nothing could make that day bad. And it wasn't, it was perfect. I SO wish I could relive that day.

4 years later we are still absolutely in love, have one perfect little boy and a perfect little girl on the way! I love my life and I love it because of Spencer and the little family we've made. I couldn't ask for anything more!

An Adoption Story...

My cousin Calli took an amazing trip this summer to Ghana, Africa with the Forever Young Foundation. Not only did she help the children but she fell in love with 3 siblings Issac, Emmanual, and Rhoda. They are now in the process of trying to adopt and could use all the help they can get. Please read their story!

And if you are in the Utah area please join them at a benefit concert featuring Jenny Oaks Baker on August 22! There is more information on the concert, Calli's story on her trip to Africa and a little more about the children on her blog. Thank You!

Spencer's Trip...

Spencer had a blast on the rapids :) and I am so glad! You can't nor do you have time to take pictures of you or your crew rafting but they take some for you. Ron and Debbie bought some and when they get back from Utah I will have to steal a few and copy them! But Spencer did take some pictures of them on the Train up to where the river was...

Here are all of them getting ready to get on the train...I have no idea what Tiff is doing haha!

My sexy hubby on the train...love him

This is them trying to get everyone poking their heads out of the train...I think they are only missing Ron.

And then here are some pictures of the river that they rafted down...

I have to admit that I was pretty jealous that they were going and I couldn't go. This trip is right up my ally and I was pretty bummed. But I'm so glad they all had fun and Spencer and Ron have both promised to take me when I'm not a big preggo haha! You know I'm totally holding them to that deal, right?
