My little model...

My little girl is gorgeous. I know every parent thinks their kids are the cutest things on earth and I am no different. Her and Preston are the cutest things Ive ever laid eyes on. Everything they do ( okay, okay maybe not EVERYTHING...but most) is just precious. Well my neighbor and friend, Shanna, came over when we got home and took some adorable pictures of Lylah. I love them!

We tried taking some of her asleep...but she wouldn't really sleep and we tried to get some family ones but Preston just wasn't having it haha. What can you do with little ones haha? I'm happy with how they turned out! Thanks Shanna!!!

Dog Bite...

Yesterday Preston got bit by a dog :(. He was outside doing yard work with Spencer and I guess our neighbors had invited Preston in their home to look at some of their model cars they have ( they know how obsessed he is of cars ) they are a super sweet older couple that we like and so Spenc let him go with them. Well I guess not long afterwords she had brought him back out to Spenc and their dog had bit him in the face. Preston is not the softest with dogs so I'm not even really sure what happened...she just said the dog was under a chair and came out and bit him. This was the damage...

( this is taken a few hours afterwords so hes happy haha ) But it isn't that bad at all...there are marks above his lip and on top of his nose and then a scratch down the side of his nose. I felt so bad for him cause he LOVES dogs and I'm afraid he is going to be scared of them now. I do want him to be more careful of course but I hope he's not too scared. I was bit when i was little and i still haven't forgotten it and i am still deathly afraid of dogs ( not on leashes or not with their owners ). I hope he's not like me haha. 

Well my sister came over yesterday to start sewing some crib bedding and I had to take some cute pics of my cute nephew Kamden. I cant believe how big he is getting! They grow too fast :(. But Preston loves how big Kam is getting and is loving the fact that they can kind of play. Its cute :). 

Oh and I got Lylahs pics back yesterday night! I'll post some of my favorites tomorrow!

Mommy life...

I love the mommy life. I really do enjoy being home, snuggling with my cuties, seeing all the smiles and laughter, witnessing their new "talents", and even changing those diapers. 

I really wasn't meant to do anything else. Mommy is my true calling in life. 

I've been enjoying every single second of being a mommy of two. Its kept me a little busier but I really do love that. 

Lylah got some pictures taken last thursday ( seriously can't wait to see how they turned out ). Well Friday my sister in law brought over a crochet outfit from my mother in law that was too cute not to take pictures of. So here are a few I took with my camera...

Boys will be Boys...

Spencer's Aunt Kelli lives just down the road from my parents, probably less then 5 min away, and while we were in Utah we got to go and visit her and have Preston play with his cousin Aaron, which is about 8 months older. They also came by to meet Lylah before we left town and Preston just LOVED playing with him. They both loved to play ( probably more torture ) with Chloe. 

They are silly boys :) Preston was sooo sad when he had to go home. Wish they still lived close so they could play more often!!

My "BIG" baby...

I hope my kids know that they will always be my babies.

I look horrible in that picture, I just had a baby okay? But I do LOVE the fact that Preston wanted to be my big baby. He has done SO extremely well with bringing Lylah home. He loves her and I think he knows thats his little sister. My sister said she thinks he remembers her from heaven. And I LOVE that. I really hope they have a special bond, that he will always love and take care of that sweet little sister of his. I love how protective he looks in these pictures...

He is always so concerned when "baby" cries and always wants to put (stuff) the paci in her mouth. He gives her kisses and gets soooo excited when I let him hold her.

He always touches her so soft saying "nice" whenever he sees her. He really is such a "nice" big brother. I also love that he still loves me. The other night he wanted dad to hold baby so I could hold him. He kept saying "my mom" and giving me lots of hugs and kisses. Gosh I love that boy. 

He has been extra funny lately and will do anything to get all of your attention. My mom figured out that if you tell him not to do something then he will do it. For example " Preston I don't want any of your kisses " and he will run as fast as he can to you and give you kisses and then laugh and laugh. 

He's also talking a TON more. Our trip to Utah really expanded his vocabulary...maybe because he had so many more people to talk to during the day. He learned all of my familys names and just loved spending time with them. I dont know what he thinks now that we are home and we dont see them :(. He just loves them. 

I just wanted to let Preston know how proud I am of him and how grateful I am that I get to be his mommy. I love every second of it. And I know you will be the best big brother. Your sister Lylah loves you to death already.

Our Little Lylah Kay...

We couldn't be more in LOVE with our sweet little Lylah Kay. She is such a good baby but wants to be held and cuddled a LOT. And I'm totally okay with that :). She eats REALLY well too, she didn't loose any weight when we went to the doctor last week and the doctor was very impressed. I feel like I'm not producing enough milk for her though so I think I'm going to have to go and get some "more milk" vitamins haha.

We're Home!!...

We finally made it back from our 5 week stay in Utah. We had a lot of fun but it feels so good to be home. We sure missed seeing Spenc everyday and I am so ready to be a normal family again and start up our new routine. I really have SO much to do today but thought I'd take a break and catch up on some blogging :). I wanted to post some "before Lylah" pictures first and then I'll post some more pics of her another day. 

While we were in Utah we went to a LOT of volleyball games. It was a blast to watch my sister ( she really is an awesome volleyball player ). Preston was SO good at the games and always seemed to make little friends and would cheer for Court. It was so cute! 

Spenc came up for a couple of the weekends. One of the weekends we took Preston to a really cool park called Discovery Park and it was all made out of wood and we all had so much fun there.

We also went up to the Mountains again...

And 2 days before Lylah was born, my family from Utah threw me a surprise baby shower :) It was sooo fun and sooo sweet of them. I really appreciated it and how thoughtful they were of me. They are SO sweet!

Okay that about sums up all the pictures I took before little Lylah came...now I better get to my unpacking and organizing rooms. I get to start decorating Lylahs room! I just need to decide on colors...
