Am I the only one?...

I have a TON of ideas rolling around my head at one time. There is just SO much I want to make for Lylah that I can't seem to stick to one project. I get so excited at first and start them and then I don't finish it before I start the next thing I am so excited about. So I have a million projects going on at once! Right now I have...

The car seat cover that I haven't finished. I finished the important parts, the inside seat and the blanket cover, but I haven't done the canopy ( its hidden under the blanket so you can't really tell haha ).

I finally decided on colors and fabrics for her room!! These are the fabrics...just started cutting the fabric tonight! 

And can you guess what Lylah's gonna be for Halloween!? Preston is going to be a cowboy and I found him the cutest costume online but there is NOTHING cute out there for a size 0-3 month baby. So I'm making hers! 

Now wish me luck that I can actually finish these projects!!

Little Helpers...

Lately my two children won't leave my side if they are awake. So we have to find ways for them to help (or just sit) right by me. This is what they look like while I'm making dinner...

They are the cutest little helpers EVER and they both look pretty happy about it haha. I love my life and I love these 2 kiddos!!!

I like to ride my bicycle!...

You can pretty much call Preston a "pro" at riding his bike. He could ride that thing all day and be happy. Yesterday we walked to a park that is kinda far away and he insisted on riding his bike there. He rode there and back without complaining, he's a little champ. He sometimes rides too fast and turns too sharp and crashes. It doesn't seem to phase him much because he just jumps right up and proclaims that he "fall down, mom" or "crash, mom". On our way back home yesterday, he decided to ride down a pretty big grass hill while I wasn't looking. I turned around and couldn't see him so I ran looking for him and found him at the bottom of this hill. His bike was turned over and his shoe was off. As soon as he saw me he was like "sorry mom!" " I fall down mom" haha I couldn't help but laugh. This kid is fearless I tell ya. I can't let him out of my sight for a second...

Cuddles...

Don't you love newborns? The way they sleep and how they sleep SO much. The way they automatically curl up in a ball and snuggle. The way they stay smelling so nice and clean. Those sweet smiles in their sleep and they way they just stare at you when they are awake. Gosh I just love it all and I'm trying to just soak it all in because I know all too well that these days just don't last. 

Last Sunday Grandma Coon was lucky enough to have Lylah cuddle with her for a really long time. She just kept saying this was her "therapy" haha. I can't agree more...holding and cuddling with Lylah is therapy for me too. She just makes everything seem perfect :). 

My little model...

My little girl is gorgeous. I know every parent thinks their kids are the cutest things on earth and I am no different. Her and Preston are the cutest things Ive ever laid eyes on. Everything they do ( okay, okay maybe not EVERYTHING...but most) is just precious. Well my neighbor and friend, Shanna, came over when we got home and took some adorable pictures of Lylah. I love them!

We tried taking some of her asleep...but she wouldn't really sleep and we tried to get some family ones but Preston just wasn't having it haha. What can you do with little ones haha? I'm happy with how they turned out! Thanks Shanna!!!

Dog Bite...

Yesterday Preston got bit by a dog :(. He was outside doing yard work with Spencer and I guess our neighbors had invited Preston in their home to look at some of their model cars they have ( they know how obsessed he is of cars ) they are a super sweet older couple that we like and so Spenc let him go with them. Well I guess not long afterwords she had brought him back out to Spenc and their dog had bit him in the face. Preston is not the softest with dogs so I'm not even really sure what happened...she just said the dog was under a chair and came out and bit him. This was the damage...

( this is taken a few hours afterwords so hes happy haha ) But it isn't that bad at all...there are marks above his lip and on top of his nose and then a scratch down the side of his nose. I felt so bad for him cause he LOVES dogs and I'm afraid he is going to be scared of them now. I do want him to be more careful of course but I hope he's not too scared. I was bit when i was little and i still haven't forgotten it and i am still deathly afraid of dogs ( not on leashes or not with their owners ). I hope he's not like me haha. 

Well my sister came over yesterday to start sewing some crib bedding and I had to take some cute pics of my cute nephew Kamden. I cant believe how big he is getting! They grow too fast :(. But Preston loves how big Kam is getting and is loving the fact that they can kind of play. Its cute :). 

Oh and I got Lylahs pics back yesterday night! I'll post some of my favorites tomorrow!

Mommy life...

I love the mommy life. I really do enjoy being home, snuggling with my cuties, seeing all the smiles and laughter, witnessing their new "talents", and even changing those diapers. 

I really wasn't meant to do anything else. Mommy is my true calling in life. 

I've been enjoying every single second of being a mommy of two. Its kept me a little busier but I really do love that. 

Lylah got some pictures taken last thursday ( seriously can't wait to see how they turned out ). Well Friday my sister in law brought over a crochet outfit from my mother in law that was too cute not to take pictures of. So here are a few I took with my camera...
