8 months...

Wow these months are flying by...and these sticker pictures are getting harder and harder haha.

Ya shes figured out that she can just take those stickers right off...and eat them haha. Shes in the stage of putting every little thing in her mouth. Needless to say we have been keeping our floors extra clean. I actually need to go through Prestons toys and throw out anything too small ( or broken ).

I love this girls personality. She most definitely has one and already is a little diva. Boy do you ( and anyone in a mile radius ) know when she wants or needs something. She is LOUD haha. Even if she isn't mad she is just talking and using her vocals to their limits, always. Last sunday I had to keep taking her out of sacrament meeting because she kept saying "mama" SO LOUD. She wasn't mad but just sooo loud haha.

She says mama and dada

She has her bottom 2 teeth and her top 2 are getting ready to pop through

She follows me around EVERYWHERE...shes a professional army crawler

She started sleeping through the night, then her top teeth started coming and now that has stopped :(

She started eating some fruit and veges and keeping them down. She has a food allergy specialist appt next month

She has no problem gaining weight even when she not eating anything but milk. I make magic milk :)

Her hair is finally starting to grow a little more

She has the cutest smile with the cutest dimple and she smiles ALL the time

Shes in stranger danger mode. She pretty much just knows Me, Spenc, Preston and her Aunt Corinne and Kam. She doesn't see anyone else enough to smile and be friendly with them.

Shes so happy and super fun right when she wakes up in the morning and after naps

She loves when I sing to her

She loves animals

Shes a mamas girl :)

She tears her bows and flowers off her head and eats them whenever I'm not looking

She has the sweetest laugh ever

We jusy switched to size 4 diapers...she has had way too many explosions lately...hopefully that helps haha

She still has tiny feet! Wears 0-3 months size 1 shoes!

She wears size 12 months

Shes just our favorite girl ever!!!!

Mothers Day 2012

I love Mothers Day. I love going to church ( wearing something new and feeling cute ) and listening to all the talks on Motherhood. Makes me feel good and special but always makes me feel a little inadequate. But that inadequacy always turns into motivation to do and be better and I leave feeling rejuvenated. And I honestly love it, best kind of church services are when I leave knowing I can be better and having new and fresh ideas to bring home to my family. Besides being a wife, being Mother is my favorite thing in the entire world.  I went to a Relief Society meeting this last week and I was talking to other young moms about being full time Moms. We were talking about how when people ask what we do ( job wise ) and we say we are stay at home moms people always wait for something more. As if being a mom just isn't enough. But it is. Mother is the MOST important and BEST job I will ever have in my entire life. I really am so grateful for the opportunity I have to be home with my children. I'm so lucky to have found a husband who also knows the importance of Motherhood and loves and supports me and wants me here at home taking care of our children. I am truly blessed.

I also very much lucked out in the Mom department. My mom is an amazing woman. She has a special way of making me feel so loved and so beautiful. I know if I'm having a bad day and I call her that I will hang up feeling SO much better. She can make me smile by just hearing her voice. She was always there for me growing up and that's one of the reasons I really wanted to be a stay at home mom. My mom always had time for ME. She was always there when I got home from school, she was at every single one of my sports games ( she was on time and always made sure to bring me anything I needed - food, drinks, forgotten uniforms haha etc. ) she tried to help with homework, she was there to talk, she taught me to drive, helped me get ready for dances and dates she was there to take me places and help me get my first jobs. My mom was my biggest supporter and biggest fan and I will forever be grateful for her. Yesterday at my in laws we went around and said something nice about our Mothers. The first thing I thought of was how my mom always made me feel like I was the best. Any craft I made any hit I had in softball was always SO great in her eyes. She believed in me so much, that I started believing in myself. My mom gave me my confidence. I love you mom and I hope you know that I've always thought you were the best too!

I also have so many Moms in my life that I look up to. My Mother in law, Grandmas, Aunts, Sister, Sister in law, and my friends. I learn so much from all of them and I'm so blessed to have them in my life.

Happy Mothers Day! XOXO

New swimming pool...

Today we went to walmart to pick a new swimming pool for this summer. I decided against a blow up pool...last year it was kinda a mess and I want to be able to just tip it over and leave against our wall so our grass doesn't die. So we got a plastic one and boy was Preston happy! We stuck it under his slide and he loved to slide right into the water! He kept telling me " I wuv this!" and " this fantastic!" haha he's so adorable!

He filled it up himself...

Now he's ready to slide!

And he's in!

Lylah always watching his every move...

Prestons fans out on the side lines taking pictures...

Oh and before I leave...

Willcox trip...

Spencer took a trip to Willcox this last weekend with his Dad, Grandpa, Uncle Rob and his boy Brigham. They also invited their friend Mitch who has some incredibly fast corvette. They had open track day that friday and got to drive a ton and then saturday was race day and they had 4 runs. Cars worked great and they had a blast :). Spencer sure does love this sport and always has such a great time with family. I'm so grateful he gets to go :).

They brought 2 cars with them this time...the red zo6 corevette that Spencer drove and the red viper that Ron drove. And I'm pretty sure that black car behind them is Grandpas car. ( I really should have spencer write these posts, im not there so im going off stories and pictures ).

And here they all are with the cars

We missed Spencer while he was gone but so glad that he got to have a fun weekend after finishing up at ASU. Thats right he is completely done and graduated ASU with his bachelors in Kinesiology. Yay! Now on to deciding whether or not Law School is in our future. He's already been accepted with scholorships but he's still debating. We will see! I'm so proud of him though and am so grateful for all he does for us. I'm one lucky girl that is for sure!

At the Splash Pad...

Spencer was out of town on a racing trip this weekend and so we spent a lot of time with Corinne and Kamden. On Saturday we decided to take the kids to a splash pad in Mesa. We wanted to get a tan while we were out there but I don't think I got much sun haha but Preston told me that he had fun and thats all that counts.

I have a feeling that we will be at a ton of splash pads this summer because a pool + 2 babys that don't swim and 1 mommy = No Bueno. Here is Lylah out on the side lines playing...

Kamden and his mommy...
