New Stages...

Preston sleeps through the night, eats real food with utensils, can run and walk, starting to talk, knows what he wants and makes sure we know it, he has the funniest personality and just adores his dada.

No more waking up in the middle of the night to eat, carrying around heavy car seats, finding a place to breast feed or warming up bottles, but there's hardly any more cuddle time or leaving him to smile in his swing.

He's growing up. And I remember saying a million times that he wasn't allowed to grow up. That I could keep him in this "stage" for forever. But then he does grow up...and then I fall in love with that "new" stage and I swear I could keep him in that "new" stage for forever. Haha this happens about a bazillion times...

I've FINALLY come to the realization that it's okay for him to grow up. It's okay for him to learn new things. Because I LOVE these new stages. Boy did I love this kid when he was a baby but there's no way I would switch the stage he is in right now for any other! He's soooo fun and completely hilarious.

I'm so enjoying this time in my life. There are so many things not going my way right now...money, the sickies coming and staying in my home for forever BUT there are so many things that are. I am truly blessed.

We tried to get a "posing" shot of his outfit the other day cause I thought he looked super cute but these are what we got haha!

Little Dancer

Preston has been a little dancer lately...he's got some pretty great moves. I haven't caught much on video, next time he watches Dora I will have to video him. This was a little while back and I couldn't get it to post but now its working! So enjoy a short funny dance... ( notice this is when he had his long hair )

Does anyone know how to rotate your videos? I hate that its sideways but I don't know how to fix it :(

In Between his Toes...

On our way home from dirt bike riding I found Preston doing this...sticking cheez-its in between his toes and then eating them.

He's such a funny boy :)

Dirt Bikes...

Ya I took about a week off of blogging. It was kinda nice but I kinda missed it so I'm back now.

Yesterday we went out to Maricopa and rode dirt bikes with some of the Coons. Well Spencer rode dirt bikes...it really made me miss riding 4 wheelers. I told spenc that we need to buy me one so we could all go out as a fam. He says maybe next year haha we will see! Spenc took Preston on little rides and he LOVED it.

Spenc said he held on really good and loved to go down the ravines haha he's my little thrill seeker...I'm honestly scared for this kid to grow up. He already knows how to start a car and he's not even 2 years old!

Here's a little video of them riding...Preston looks very serious haha.

Funny/Sad story: When Spencer and Danny were little their uncles would kick them as they were riding their bikes. Spencer said they kicked him hard and almost would knock them over. His uncles thought this was funny but to me I think it is Horrible! Well yesterday we actually went out with those uncles to ride and their boys are about the same age spenc was when his uncles were so mean. Spencer said that all growing up they would tell their uncles...Just wait until you have kids and then they would get their revenge. Well his Aunts yesterday came up to him before they left to go riding and were asking him Please don't kick our kids! haha the thing is Spencer would NEVER do that. We had talked about it before and Spencer said that he would feel so completely bad to kick those little kids over. I mean come on...WHO DOES THAT! I'm just so glad my husband is a sweet guy.

Heres Spenc with his helmet on just before they left

Me and my cutest blonde boy. We ended up having a great time yesterday. Spencer loves to ride his dirt bike and he loved that Preston loved to ride with him. He kept saying how he remembered how it felt when his dad would take him on rides and he loved that he got to do that with Preston. He's such a fun daddy. Preston loved to play in the dirt and get super dirty. And I always love to be able to chat with Nikki, Jill and Katie.

After we got back Ron and Debbie wanted us over for dinner...they made us steaks and we watched the bachelor. It was a super fun day! I love days that we get to spend all day together!

Little Nephew Kamden...

I am officially an Aunt! Isn't it backwords to be a mommy before you are an Aunt? Oh well...I finally am and I couldn't be more excited!!! I think one of the things I am most excited about is that Preston finally has a cousin!!! It's about time :)! Anyways he arrived Friday morning just before 9:00 am. He was a surprise for sure coming at 3 weeks early but luckily him and mommy are doing perfect and both are healthy!

It took Justin and Corinne a while to pick out a name but they went with Kamden Scott Weeks. Fits him perfectly! Isn't he absolutely adorable!?

He weighed 6lbs 4 ounces and was 18 3/4 inches long.

Sad thing is I brought my camera the morning he was born but forgot my memory card!!! Blah! So all these pictures are the next day and I don't really have any besides me and the baby haha.

We love you Kamden!!!

I NEED organization!...

I'm a procrastinator. And lately it's gotten worse. Well yesterday I had waited until the last possible day to get some posters made for YW's that needed to be done by 6. I didn't plan on Preston being completely sick. He had a fever at a high of 102.2 and was just a miserable little guy. I was so completely stressed trying to get posters made while my baby was crying in my lap. Why do I do this to myself? I had over a week of time to get those posters done and if I would have I could have spent all my time and focus on my sick baby. Sometimes I really get frustrated with myself. I finished those posters at exactly 6. I was a few minutes late to the church.

I need an organized life. How do you keep yourself organized? Do you schedule yourself something in your house to really clean everyday? So that by the end of the week you don't have to clean EVERYTHING...like i do. Do you schedule out meals for the week? Please suggest anything...I need ideas and help. I feel as if life is spinning out of control sometimes.

I feel like lately I've been a debbie downer and I complain a lot on my blog. Sorry. I really am pretty happy. Last night Spencer brought home cupcakes...YUM. And even though my baby is sick I got to cuddle him LOTS yesterday and I loved it. He has been pretty clingy and wants to be with me ALL the time...I love that too. He gets SO excited to take medicine...he loves it haha.

And I LOVE tickling this boy. His laugh is the cutest thing.

I love you buddy...

This smile is what gets me through the day. Is it even possible to try and say how thankful I am for this boy? I take one look at him and I'm happy. When I'm having those not so bright or cheery days he's the one who makes me laugh. The one to make me smile. He's that one person that really "needs" me, and being needed really does feel good. Don't you love how babies love unconditionally? I know this boy loves me. He loves me just the way i am. And I love him just the way he is. He's so very perfect to me...

He woke up with a fever last night and still has it this morning. It will be another day of sickness...we just can't seem to get rid of this crap. But we'll make the most of it today and cuddle a whole bunch.
