Prestons bubbles

Last night we played with bubbles, one of Preston's favorite things! He would back up and when Spenc would blow the bubbles he'd run at them and try and pop them. He did this for SO long...he doesn't get tired or sick of it. In fact he threw a fit when we were done. This boy has more energy then I know what to do with...but isn't he just too darn cute!?

Electronics...

Spencer has a "cool" phone...you know the ones that you can download apps on. Preston thinks angry birds is like the funniest thing, he'll point his finger and we'll help him shoot the bird and he'll laugh and say "ouch" when they crash. He just found the app for words with friends and now I'm really jealous. That game is addicting. Why is it that I'm always the jealous one when it comes to electronics? I never get any of that stuff...I am up for a new phone though ;)

Busy Busy Day...

Yesterday was a busy day, it was a good day but a long day and I think I just did too much. We woke up early and hit the gym around 8 in the morning - Preston did awesome and I got to work out for an hour and they never had to come and get me :). Then we ran straight home and showered and we met Corinne and Kamden at the park to walk and then Preston played a little on the playground. When we got home Preston took a nap so I ran around and cleaned my house. Then around 5 me and my neighbor went and helped another neighbor pull all of her weeds in her front yard. It was fun but I woke up today just completely exhausted and I have a headache. So as soon as I load some pictures on this blog then I'm headed straight for my bed and I am taking a nap! 

P.S.- Its pretty windy here today - I think when Spenc gets home we'll go fly our kite with Preston :)

Family Fun...

Yesterday a lot of my family ended up being in town and we all met up at my Grandparents. It was a lot of fun to chat and catch up with everyone :). We managed to have all of my grandparents "great" grandbabies there and we were able to get a picture of them all together, plus my 2 youngest cousins. 

The 2 older girls ( Veronica and Vanessa ) are actually my cousins but they are so cute and sweet and played so good with all the little ones and it wouldn't be a picture without them in it!

I didn't take very many pictures but I was able to capture Preston and Porter tackling Vanessa :)

It was a lot of fun and I wish we could all get together more often!

My BIG boy...

Last night I was thinking about how BIG my baby was. He's such a smart kid and totally understands what we tell or ask him to do. He's still just saying a few words but I've never written them down or tried counting how many words he could say. So I thought I had better start documenting this kind of stuff! Preston will be 23 months in just a little over a week and here are the words he says...

Not that many. haha its funny cause I know he knows what things are but he just wont say them. If I ask him any of his facial parts ( nose, eyes, mouth, teeth, cheeks, ears, head, hair ) he can point to them real quick. I can ask him to get his own shoes and clothes and he gets the right stuff. I'm really not worried about him being behind because I feel like he's so smart...he will just start talking more when he wants to I guess! 

Lately everything is a "dada" and he is getting more vocal on stating his opinions with "No" or " Na Uh's". He loves to "Roar" and make "Vroom Vroom" noises. And he's starting to want to sit on the toilet. He hasn't gone in it yet but I'm glad he's not afraid of the toilet...he actually loves to flush. He does tell me when he goes potty right away...he'll come and get me pointing to his bottom. Now if I could only get him to tell me before he already went! I don't want to push him too quick, I want him to be ready before we start to try and potty train but I can tell he's thinking about it. I'm hoping we can get that done before baby #2 comes along.

He LOVES to be outside and really likes to help Spenc do the yard work on Saturday mornings. Our yard is starting to get covered in weeds so that was something they did a lot of that morning. They would pull the weeds and put it in Preston's wagon and dump truck and Preston would push them over to where Spenc was at...he pulled a couple weeds ( and rocks and dirt ) too!

And yes Preston does his yard work in pajamas :)

Rambling...

I've started to go back to the gym. I used to try and go at night but with this new pregnancy it wasn't possible. Boy do I get sick at nights...and I kept thinking that it should have gone away by now but its not :(. So I tried waking up super early at like 5:30 in the morning and going and that was SO hard for me. I'm prego and I have a wild almost 2 year old. I really need my sleep. So I signed Preston up for the kids club at the gym so I can go around 9 in the morning ( or really any time that I feel like i want to ). Today was the 3rd time we went. Every time we go they end up finding me and telling me to come and get him. He lasted about 40 min...were getting better each time. I'm hoping here pretty soon I can at least stay an hour. At least I'm doing something right? 

This new baby has put mixed emotions in my head. I am SO excited to have another baby. But I really don't want to be a whale all summer long. I am super afraid of gaining any more weight ( i have enough on me as it is ). And it seems like Preston is getting more wild each day. Lately he LOVES to be outside and so I've started to get some sun on my glow in the dark white body and if he starts liking the gym more at least i can be a fit tan whale this summer! haha geez what us women have to do to have these adorable little babies...It is SO worth it all anyways!

P.S.- I'm not an animal lover and this morning I swore against ever having animals. Some stupid dog pooped in my front yard and guess who ran in it? Yes my little munchkin...and his shoe smelt so bad that I was gagging this morning non-stop trying to clean it off. Oh i was so angry I thought about making signs to stick in my grass telling everyone to keep their dumb dogs off! Then I thought again about what people would think and how I would seem like a crazy meany pants. Does pregnancy make you totally emotional, a rambler about non important or irrelevant things and make you a little grouchy towards neighbors who don't pick up their dogs poop? 

Yes...I'm totally blaming these pregnancy hormones!

I have a weird habit of not being able to post without a picture...I don't know it seems so off if I don't.

At the Lake...

These last few days we have been spending a lot of time outside. Wednesday we went to the park, Thursday we went to Basha Highschool and played in the water ( They have such a fun toddler area...we'll be back there a lot this summer! ) and then yesterday we went to the lake. It has been nice to get some sun on my white skin and Preston loves when we do something new. I really didn't get any pics except for yesterday and they aren't the greatest. We didn't get out there until about 2 and Preston hadn't had a nap yet so he fell asleep on me pretty quick therefore i had one arm to take pics and keep my hair out of my face. Note to self : Never go to the lake without a hair tie!

Today Spenc has a lot of chores and things to do so I'm going to get those ties finished and I am also making Preston another towel...and I guess I'll clean a little too haha
