BIG truck

Preston had been 1/2 potty trained for months now. He did AWESOME at home but when it came to leaving the house he was horrible. Well we don't have the money to bribe him with much but my mother in law promised him a BIG truck if he would go potty in the potty ALL the time. Well its been a couple of weeks and we've had NO accidents. Its such a relief! No more pull ups or diapers for him! :) Well she came and got him the other day and they came back with this truck...

Well when we were out playing the day after he got it he wanted SO BAD to bring it outside and show his friends and play with it with them. I actually didn't want him to take it outside, he has a LOT of outside toys and its going to get HOT this summer and it would be nice to have something to entertain him inside too. Anyways he got it out and got it all dirty. By the time we went inside he wanted to bring it back in. NO WAY. It was all gross. So yesterday we had a little car wash and got it all clean again and brought it back in.

He's in LOVE with this BIG truck. Thanks Grandma!

First Bites...

Lylah had her first taste of Rice Cereal last night...This was her before, SO excited to finally be able to eat some real food!

Shes pretty much a professional eater. Look at that bib...she only has like one spot on it. She loved it!

Ron's 50th Party

Okay like 2 weekends ago, Ron had his 50th birthday party! We had a blast. Lots of fun people, funny jokes and good food. You can't beat that right?

I did this table for Ron...its the first part of his gift. I'll show you what it all is once I'm done.

I think 50 looks good when you can look back on all you've accomplished and feel great about it. Ron has done some wonderful things, he's such an amazing person. My favorite has got to be raising 5 really great kids and I'm lucky enough to have one of them for eternity. I'm thankful for Ron ( and Debbie too of course ) for raising Spencer the way they did.

busy...

My week has been crazy busy. Today was just plain hectic. But we got through it and we even have a picture to prove it. 

I'm so blessed to have these 2 cuties by my side everyday. I wouldn't want it any other way.

These are both my babies at about 5 1/2 months...

I wanted to see the similarities they had and how they differed. Preston is mostly his daddy and a lot of people tell me Lylah looks a lot like me. I wish I had a baby picture of me at 6 months...I may have to bug my mom for one :). Anyways the one thing I noticed looking back at pictures of Preston is that I could barely get him to smile for pictures. And Lylah is so good at smiling. And Lylah has her daddys dimples. Preston has more hair then Lylah does though haha...hers is growing :) slowly but surely. I think they definitely look like siblings though! What do you think?

Baby Cousins...

We got to see Mr. Radley again last night :) I love that both our families are having kids with us now, it makes it so fun! It will be so fun to watch these two grow up and play with each other!
