A picture for Grammy...

My mom really wants a recent picture of her 3 grandkids together. While I was watching Kamden yesterday I decided that I would give it a shot. Ironically their outfits really went well together :). Well at first I tried inside...

Back round wasn't cute, lighting was weird and the kids were so totally not into it! So I thought I'd try out back in our wagon. Here is the outcome...

The funny thing is, I really do like something about every photo. These kids are just so cute and funny and the way the react to things ( like me running at them making growling noises before snapping a picture ) just fascinates me. I love their little personalities and the way they are different. But yet not so different as well.

I loved Preston's real smile in this one..

I love the way Lylah was watching Kamden. She's so interested in what those boys are doing.

These boys kept putting their hands in their mouth...i can't tell you how many times I tried getting them to stop! They would look at each other and copy one another haha

I really got them laughing here and it was so cute. Sometimes I can be really funny haha

Yay Kam is finally smiling with no hand in his mouth but Preston is looking away ha.

And then its the best shot of the day...both boys looking with cute real smiles. I just really wish Lylah was looking at me but shes adorable anyways!

Gosh I can't tell you how much I love these little munchkins. I love that they have each other. And I really love that they love each other too.

The birth DAY...

For Preston's birthday this year we didn't throw a big party. I was really going back and forth trying to decide if I was going to or not but we decided not to. I still wanted him to have fun all day so me and Corinne took the kids to Jumpstreet to play. The boys LOVED it. There was hardly anyone there and they pretty much had the place to themselves. It was a blast :)! My camera died so we took pics on corinnes iphone. Thanks Corinne!

We tried to get one of all 3 kids... they were either too busy eating or getting squeezed to death by Preston hahaha... they love each other :)

Preston also got to open lots of presents from loved ones...he was so excited about everything. Grandma Coon also took him shopping, hes a bit spoiled.

He really wanted a Monster truck cake but he doesn't like cake, just ice cream. So I tried my hardest to fulfill this littles boys wishes. This is what i came up with...

haha it wasn't that pretty but keep in mind, its ice cream! It kept melting and i kept having to stick it back in the freezer and then out again. It was a big task and I tried my best and thats what counts right? He was pretty happy about it and that made it all worth it :)

Gosh we love this birthday boy!

Happy Birthday Preston!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Preston!...

My little boy just isn't so little anymore. He hasn't been for a while now but lately it feels like he's grown in a blink of an eye. I seriously can't believe I had him 3 years ago. Still feels like yesterday and those newborn cries of his are still fresh in my memory. But time is moving on and he is now a BIG brother, he's talking so much and so good, he's so independent and wants to do everything on his own and is so quick to tell me that he can do it. Birthday's are bittersweet when your a mom, I love to be able to try and make his day so fun and bright but then I reflect on the past year. He's growing way too fast and there's nothing I can do about it.  Here's proof in pictures...

He's such a boy now! And he's the cutest boy I have ever seen. Preston talks so much. Some of my favorite things he says are "this is bery yummy ( or bery yucky )" and "gooood morrning yiyah!". I don't think theres anything he can't say. He's so curious and loves to learn, always asking me what things are and what they are called and what they do. He can count to ten. His favorite number is 5. He can buckle himself in his car seat which is SO great. Still obsessed with cars and trucks and knows most of their names. He's getting good at picking up his own toys and were working on knowing where they go in his room. He hasn't had an accident in over a month. YES! I'm not sure what his stats are just yet, his doctors appt. is next week so I'll post those then.

Preston,

Happy Birthday BIG boy! Mommy and Daddy love you more then you'll ever know. You bring so much joy and laughter in our lives. You are so friendly and sweet and people are just so drawn to you. I hope you will always know what you mean to us, you are our perfect little boy and we would just do anything for you. Your sister looks up to and just loves you so much. You couldn't be a better brother...so sweet and always looking out for her. I love how you are always the first little face I see when I wake up in the morning. Always telling me " Mom its morning, get up, look its light outside not dark!". I hope you had a good 3rd birthday...I love you so much buddy.

Love,
Mommy

The Zoo...

Yesterday we went to the Phoenix zoo with Corinne, Kam, Shanna, Porter, Hunter and miss Emma! It was a lot of fun and when we got home Preston told me he wanted to go to the zoo everyday haha!

This was our group of boys checking out the zebra!

And my Miss Lylah girl being a sweetheart...

Preston and Kamden LOVED their water area. Its pretty cool with a tunnel that leads to a slide, though I don't even think any of our kids tried the slide haha!

Preston splashed water in Kams face and thought it was funny but look at poor kams face!

This picture was blurry but Preston took Kamden by the hand and was showing him other parts of the water place and it was so cute...

After all the water fun we changed the kids and got lucky when we saw a big orangutan monkey eating some lettuce. The kids (and us as well) just thought it was so cool.

Preston and Hunter on the Lizard...Preston just kept giving it hugs haha

On our way to the petting zoo little Kamden zonked out in his stroller and it was just so cute.

The big boys...

They had tractors for the kids to sit on at the petting zoo and Preston was SO excited. He loves tractors!

The boys went in to pet the goats...

We stopped at another play area so the kids could play and this peacock was driving us crazy haha it kept coming over and looking for food and making us nervous around the kids.

Lylah liked the break from her stroller

Lylah with her Aunt Corinne

And here is Lylahs little friend Emma...isn't she just a doll! We are just a little jealous of all her hair!

We couldn't get the girls to smile but here they are together. They are about 3 months apart but about the same size!

And before we left we let the boys ride the carousal. Preston of course chose the shark!

It was a fun fun day!!!

Me and Spencer actually got a babysitter and we got to go out on a date last night! It turned out to be a great day!
