Pumpkin Patch 2012...

We LOVE going to Vertuccio Farms every year for their pumpkin patch. It has become a tradition of ours! This year we kinda waited last minute to go but we had such a great time!

Preston's Toe...

Preston had a play date over at his cousin Issac's house and they decided to slide down a metal slide with no shoes or socks. This was the result...

He couldn't walk on it for a little while so there was a lot of this...

And so I decided to take him out on a date to see Hotel Transylvania. It was a cute movie and we had a lot of fun!

Luckily it healed up quick with no infections! 

I love this crazy boy!!

October Happinings...

But I thought they turned out pretty good for inside pictures without any good lighting. Shes my happiest prettiest girl! Love her!!

Can't believe my baby is one!!

Lylahs 1st Birthday!...

Lylah turned one on September 15th. The time just goes so quickly and I can't believe my baby is one! She had a birthday party a couple of weeks after her birthday so that she could spend it with her Grammy, Papa and Aunt Court from Utah as well as her family members here. We spent the party at my Grandma Porters club house and it was a perfect spot! We had cup cakes and dessert and opened presents and then we headed outside for a swim! The weather and company was absolutely perfect! We had one accident though...After lighting her candle on her cupcake she decided she wanted to touch the flame and burned her finger...she was pretty dang upset for a lot of her party until she got to swim in the pool. "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to" fit perfectly with her party! 

Lylah you are the prettiest girl I know. Your hair is finally starting to grow and I'm sure we'll be able to put it in pigtails soon! You have the prettiest blue eyes and you are just a perfect little petite girl. You definitely have a mind of your own and even though you keep me on my toes I love that about you. You are a black and white kind of girl, either happy or absolutely NOT happy.  You are in a stranger danger stage and pretty much only love a certain few special people ( mom the most, of course! ) You have completed our family ( for now ) and I can not imagine life without your cutest smile! We love you so much Lylah!!!

A random day...

There are few days when being outside is even bearable during the summer and one of those random days we met up with Shanna and her kids at the park. It was fun to see them...seems like its been forever since we've hung out with them! ( Let's hang out soon Shanna!! ) 

Boys played in the sand and had a blast rolling down the grass hill!

And miss Lylah girl was a mess. She's at that hard age where she desperately wants to play with the other kids but is still just too little! 

I seriously CAN NOT wait until it cools down and we can play outside all the time again!! I am soo looking forward to fall clothes and the fun holidays this year!

Lylah's "Birth"day Part 2

After naps and and lunch we went to the park. Lylah fell asleep on our way there and slept most of the time while we were playing but Preston had fun for the both of them! She woke up in time to swing ( her favorite thing ) and I got to take a few cute little pictures of her.

I love her leggings and shoes...too cute!

Then that night we had some ice cream and she opened her presents from us. It was a long day and she was exhausted. 

I had also planned on trying to take some really cute pictures of Lylah while we were there and she just wasn't having it. 

"It's my Birthday and I'll cry if I want to!"

I can't wait for her Big Birthday this weekend!!! Love this girl way too much!!
