Prestons smile...

I was on a mission. I chased Preston around like there was no tomorrow in our backyard. Every time he looked at me I snapped a picture of his smile. He had a blast and my mission of getting some pictures of him smile was a success. I love this cute boy. 

Nothing is sweeter then a happy 2 (almost 3) year old boy! Preston I just love you SO much!

Dating...

I LOVE it when me and Spencer actually get to go out on a date. It doesn't happen very often but I'm hoping that changes soon :). Majestic Real Estate donated to a school for Autism who was having a charity poker tournament. We were able to go with Rob and Nikki and it was really fun. I didn't do too well and we didn't win any of the raffel prizes BUT we still had a good time!

Oh and we took a picture before we went inside and the sun was shining right on my hair...look how red it is!?

Toys...

Preston has started a new bad habit of dumping his little bins of toys right in the middle of my living room. It drives me crazy...especially when I accidentally step on one, stub my toes or actually fall to the ground ( i had on my church high heels ).  He thinks its the best when he can watch tv, play cars and eat snacks all in one room at the same time. Little does he know this habit won't last much longer. Those toys are driving me NUTS and those crumbs on my floor from your crackers are bugging me soooo bad. Oh ya and you are not the boss of the remote and tv all day long! So excuse me while I take care of that 2 year old mess I call Preston! haha!

First Family Lake Day 2012

Spencer and Preston have been to the lake a couple of times already this year but today was the first time me and Lylah tagged along. It was Lylah's first time ever to the lake and she was a trooper. It's SO important to Spencer that our kids get used to and like the lake. It's his favorite thing to do and he wants so much for us all to enjoy it as well. And so far we all do. Preston LOVES it. Spencer swears he's taking him out on the wake board this summer...we will see ;).

It keeps getting harder and harder to get good pictures at the lake. At first it was just mastering when to click the button to get a good picture of Spencers tricks. Then it was that plus holding Preston and taking pictures of him as well. Now its both of those plus miss Lylah girl. Therefore I wasn't impressed with what I have. It's a talent I'm continuing to try and master. I am though very impressed with that stud muffin I call husband. He never seizes to amaze me with all his many talents. I love watching him in that tight wet suit, doing something he truly just loves to do.

Does anyone else out there hate life jackets? I really do hate that my kids have to wear them...look how uncomfortable they are. :( Maybe they make them better now haha, they are wearing some ancient ones. I'm gonna look into that :).

I know I've said this a million times but I cannot for the life of me take good pictures of Preston anymore. He makes goofy faces or just runs off. Today I had him smiling at me and in a panic I grabbed the camera and just took the picture without looking in the screen. I only got half his face...and I'm so disappointed because look at that adorable REAL smile! 

He sure does melt my heart. I love that boy with all my heart.

And then there is that sweet girl of mine. She didn't hate the lake, luckily, but she wasn't all smiles like she normally is. I personally blame the life jacket...HA! 

This lake trip got me so excited for Lylah to wear swimsuits...I can imagine those sweet rolls bursting out of a cute tight suit as we speak. CUTENESS! 

It was another good good day :).

A good Tuesday...

Spencer came home at like 1 yesterday. We just relaxed and spent time at home together for a while. I got to run to the store with just 1 kid :) and we also walked down to the park for a bit. Don't you love our tree lined streets...one of the reasons why I would want to stay in our neighborhood over anywhere else in the valley.

I had Spencer take a picture of us so that you could see my new hair. I'm not really sure about it and I wish the sun was showing more of the color because its a little red/purple. I've washed it a TON trying to get it to fade and I think it has a little but I'm really thinking of getting it done again because I just think it may be too much. I like it dark but not sure if I like the highlights. We will see. 

 

 Well I didn't feel like cooking ( I really hardly ever want to cook ) but I had the bright idea of using our Carrabas gift card to get take out. Our kids are no good at restaurants but we've been wanting to use that gift card for a while now. So I ordered the pasta weasie and Spencer ordered the lobster mac n cheese. We pulled up to Carrabas and they bring everything to our car...we didn't even have to get out!

My food was seriously SO GOOD! I highly recommend my dish, Spencer wished he would have gotten mine too ha!

My neighbor and I switched...she needed a bassinet and I needed a highchair and we swapped. She brought it over yesterday and Lylah was SO excited to sit at the table with us. We were all laughing at how cute and happy she was to be with us. It was so special to me to have us all at the table eating together as a family of 4. I LOVE my little family. 

They started laughing at each other and it was the cutest thing in the world. It really melts my heart how close they are and how much they love each other. I REALLY hope and pray it stays that way.

And then Lylah decided she wanted to sit with me...she's been such a mamas girl lately. She cries every time I leave the room and wants to be connected to my hip all day long. Sometimes I wish it was different but really I love it. She said "mama" a couple days ago and I'm so excited about it. Ohhh I LOVE that girl!

Photo Shoot at the Park...

We had our own little photo shoot last week at the park. I really wanted to get some cute ones of Lylah since she is 6 months old! And I wanted to try and get one of Preston...but I knew it was going to be hard. We also tried Kamden but the boys just wouldn't sit still for a second. This is what we got...

St Pattys Day...

Yesterday was St Pattys Day! I was never one to go all out on this holiday...but I decided a while ago that I wanted to make each Holiday a little bigger around here. I want my kids to have fun with each holiday...its just an excuse to have fun and spend a little extra time with my kids! That morning we made Leprechaun masks...

We also went and got shaved Ice at Bahama Bucks with Corinne and Kamden...

Then we headed to the park! Spencer worked most of yesterday but was able to meet us at the park and we tried to fly our kite...ha it didn't really work!
