Prestons Pumpkin

We just barely got around to carving prestons little pumpkin tonight...which is what we should have done all along cause our pumpkins are pretty much dead and didnt even make it to halloween...pretty lame. But anyway luckily we had prestons so his will be our only lil pumpkin for our trick or treaters. He of course was only interested in eating the pumpkin...no i didnt let him eat anything but i did let him taste the lid of the pumpkin after it was washed. haha he loved every minute of it! Spencer carving and preston playing
Silly lil boy

Tastin the pumpkin...looks like he liked it haha
Showing off his pumpkin
Mommy and preston...he was soooo much more interested in the pumpkin then the camera

We tried to take a picture outside in the dark to show off the pumpkin but it didnt work...it looks like daylight

Curtains!

We desperately needed curtains covering our sliding glass door...for months now there has been nothing there and if anyone wanted to they could see right into our house at night. Its been bothering me soo bad but i finally got them done. Originally i just bought some plain black curtains at target because they were on sale but the ones for the door were like 20 inches too short..dumb me didnt measure before i went shopping. Well I honestly didnt want to return them and i think my door is extra long because i couldnt find any that would be long enough that you didnt have to special order and it would be like 100.00. Seriously? For curtains? So i kept them and found some really cute fabric at hobby lobby for 30% off. The sewing machine i have is my moms old one...and it doesnt work so i went over to my grandmas and we did them together...she did so much cause my lil chunk was a lil grouchy but it was fun anyway. I absolutely love how they turned out. They go with my kitchen perfectly and most importantly it covers my door! Love them! Thanks grandma! The short ones...we had to do them too so they would all match and go together...

My kitchen with the new curtains...oh i could look at them all day...

New Car

A boy can dream right...haha. This car is now a new member of the Coon family Car collection...just not this coon family haha. Spencers Dad is OBSESSED with fast nice cars. He has alot of really nice vehicles that he takes his boys and brothers to race with. The newest being the 08 dodge viper spencer is sitting in. I do have to say though that Ron deserves this car. Would you just let all your sons and brothers race your really nice cars? haha im not so sure that i would...he is seriously one of the most giving people i know. Not just the whole car thing but with anything. I have never met anyone as willing to help his loved ones or anyone in need like he is and ive only known him a little over 2 years. I really am so very grateful to be apart of the coon family. I know that sometimes i can be a pain in the butt, unthankful, and get my feelings hurt when really i shouldnt but i really do love them and im so thankful for them. My little family has lived more comfortably because of the help ron and debbie are soo willing to give. Im also really grateful for how him and his uncle rob has given spencer great oppertunitys for work and providing for our family. If it wasnt for them i dont know how wed make money and i dont know how spencer would have time for school. Because of them spencer is able to work, go to school and have time with his family. All of the things spencer loves to do would not be possible without his dad. Im so thankful that hes able to go and do the things he loves to do with his dad. Things that just wouldnt be possible to do without him. Thank you Ron for all that you do for my family...for raising an amazing son who turned out to be the greatest man i know. I hope and pray that we will be in the position to help those who we love and anyone else in need. Your example is one that many should look up to.

A couple more pictures of these sweet cars...On the left is the Ford GT and on the right is the Viper.

Picnic

I live for days like these. Yesterday was such a relaxing and enjoyable day...the weather was perfect, spencer was home alot, my house was super clean and preston was just soo happy. We took a little walk and had a picnic in our neighborhood. Preston was trying super hard to sit up and he was doing really good. It amazes me how much he learns and how fast. Hes getting to be such a big boy...he definantly has rolling from his tummy to his back down and hes starting to sit up, we have to watch him though or hell face plant it haha. He is super good with his hands too if i give him a bottle..which is hardly ever...hell hold it up by himself and he can find his own paci in his carseat and put it in his mouth. He is sooo good at saying mama and he absolutely loves it when we sing and dance with him. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to be able to raise this sweet little boy. My baby sitting up!
Super cute boy

Me and Preston...Sun was in my eyes

We tried to take a family pic but preston would not look at the camera...this was the best we could do

Im so very excited!! I won this super cute little lap quilt made by Ashley Broomall! She makes super super cute quilts and other things...check them out at etsy.com her stuff is named hazeljayne! Thanks Ashley!

School...

Lately spencer has been super busy with school...he has 3 BIG projects due next month. Well for one of them he is doing an experiment to see which bubble gum blows the biggest bubble. Last night he measured all the gum to .3 grams and then he tested it. Hed blow a bubble and id have to try and measure it before it popped haha it was quite interesting. Well when we were finished he decided to put the gum together and see what kind of bubble he could get and it ended up being a BIG success haha. If at first you dont succeed...
Try again! haha its bigger then his head!

Random pic before preston went to bed and spenc started his homework. I just love these boys!

Pumpkin Carving

Last night was sooo fun! We took corinne and justin to our famous mexican place which they loved of course and then we went to the store to pick out our pumpkins and then we carved them! We got books to help us carve the great detailed carvings and they all turned out really cool! Its so fun to have them living so close to us! We got preston a little pumpkin but he went to bed so we are going to carve it tomorrow night for family night so i will be sure to post it later.

"P" is for Preston...and Pumpkins!!!

Today we went to the pumpkin patch!! Me and Spencer took Preston and we actually had alot more fun then we had expected. We got lost in the corn maze and we were sweating our faces off haha but we took some cute pictures with the pumpkins and in the corn field. Then me and preston took a ride in the cow barrel ride and he absolutely loved it. It had a steering wheel inside and he kept trying to steer us and he was smiling and laughing...so cute. We walked around and looked at all the animals that they had there...prestons favorite was the baby chicks, he was trying to get really close and he was making noises like he wanted to talk to them haha. Well we ended up not buying any pumpkins we are going to go back with Justin and Corinne and pick some out and come back and carve them. Im really excited!Cutest Pumpkin in the Patch!
Laughing in the pumpkins...darn hands are in his mouth though
Daddy and Preston laughin
They are making the same facial expressions...how cute is that! Like Father like Son.

Here Comes Trouble...

Friday Corinne had the day off so we decided to have a scrapbooking day but we had to run to a couple of stores before and we went to target to get pajamas for preston since hes growing like a weed! We found these ones that say "here comes trouble"! We thought they were so cute but little did we know that it was exactly what he was when we got home. He did not want to let me do anything and he would not take his nap! He just wanted to be in our arms the whole time! So it wasnt as a productive day as i had hoped but we love him anyways!!! These are the jammas.
