A random day...

There are few days when being outside is even bearable during the summer and one of those random days we met up with Shanna and her kids at the park. It was fun to see them...seems like its been forever since we've hung out with them! ( Let's hang out soon Shanna!! )

Boys played in the sand and had a blast rolling down the grass hill!

And miss Lylah girl was a mess. She's at that hard age where she desperately wants to play with the other kids but is still just too little!

I seriously CAN NOT wait until it cools down and we can play outside all the time again!! I am soo looking forward to fall clothes and the fun holidays this year!

Lylah's "Birth"day Part 2

After naps and and lunch we went to the park. Lylah fell asleep on our way there and slept most of the time while we were playing but Preston had fun for the both of them! She woke up in time to swing ( her favorite thing ) and I got to take a few cute little pictures of her.

I love her leggings and shoes...too cute!

Then that night we had some ice cream and she opened her presents from us. It was a long day and she was exhausted.

I had also planned on trying to take some really cute pictures of Lylah while we were there and she just wasn't having it.

"It's my Birthday and I'll cry if I want to!"

I can't wait for her Big Birthday this weekend!!! Love this girl way too much!!

Lylah's "Birth"day...Part 1

Lylah turned ONE this last weekend! I seriously can not believe it! Well we decided to have a big party on the 29th of this month so that my family could make it so we just had a little something for her on her real birthday. We were up in Flagstaff with Spencer's parents. I really really enjoyed the weekend! It was so nice to have Ron and Debbie there to help dote on the Birthday girl. She's had a hard time lately being with anyone but mommy, daddy or Aunt Corinne. But over the course of the weekend she got to spend a lot of undivided attention with her grandma and grandpa and she was smiling and loving all of it! They got to see her funny and sweet side which I was so glad about! We all had a great time!

The morning of her birthday we went to Lake Mary.

Lylah had her first ride on the tube with her dada...

And she also LOVED watching Preston tube as well!

( Yes I know...she doesn't have a life jacket on! Spencer swore there was a life jacket on the boat for her but there wasn't...she borrowed Preston's while she was tubing and then we just held her the rest of the time )

Here's Preston tubing...he always loves it but this time he was pretty sad when that cold water got on him!

I sometimes squeeze Lylah to death...

Spencer got some wakeboarding in and he landed 2 tricks in a row that he's never been able to do before so he was pretty excited about that! His muscles look so nice in the picture on the left ;)

And here is my sexy man. I love him so...

More of Lylah on the boat...

Shes also been obsessed with her daddy lately. She points to him and wants him to hold her pretty much non stop when he gets home. Its really sweet...

He teaches her about wakeboarding haha...

Love you Preston...and I love watching you grow!!!

Crafting Palooza over Labor Day

I'm officially playing catch up AGAIN. I need to stop forgetting to blog!! Okay so over Labor Day Weekend I did a few craft projects. Spencer's family went to Flagstaff but I decided to stay behind with Lylah. She was being weened and was having such a hard time, especially at night during bed times. So I stayed home, which I really am glad I did. I got to spend one on one time with my Ly bug and it helped a lot with her being weened. And I also got a few craft projects done that I've really been wanting to do! So it was fun...even though I really did miss my boys!

I made a blanket, burp rags and headband gift set for my cousins adoption fundraiser. Shes adopting from Ghana, Africa so I wanted to have it look a little bit like that. It was a hit at the online auction and actually sold for 150.00! I was shocked but so happy that it did so well for them! This is the picture collage I had on the site...

No wonder it did so well, I had the CUTEST model EVER!

Me and my sister made growth charts on that Monday. There have been pictures of these things all over pinterest and I've been wanting to make one for forever! Here is how mine turned out...not gonna lie, I LOVE it!

I decided to put it on my little wall inbetween the living room and kitchen here...

Then I finally did my curtains!! Remember when Preston cut my kitchen curtains here. Well they needed done really bad...those little holes turned to huge holes because he would pull at them. Anyways I had plain white curtains in my living room that I got from Ikea and so I decided to just get the same ones for my kitchen but sew black stripes onto them. I really love the look they brought into my house!

And heres the living room...

Spencer sent me these pictures of Preston driving tractors in Flagstaff while they were there, I think its safe to say they had fun too!

It was a good Labor Day weekend...even if we were seperated!
