Mothers Day 2012

I love Mothers Day. I love going to church ( wearing something new and feeling cute ) and listening to all the talks on Motherhood. Makes me feel good and special but always makes me feel a little inadequate. But that inadequacy always turns into motivation to do and be better and I leave feeling rejuvenated. And I honestly love it, best kind of church services are when I leave knowing I can be better and having new and fresh ideas to bring home to my family. Besides being a wife, being Mother is my favorite thing in the entire world.  I went to a Relief Society meeting this last week and I was talking to other young moms about being full time Moms. We were talking about how when people ask what we do ( job wise ) and we say we are stay at home moms people always wait for something more. As if being a mom just isn't enough. But it is. Mother is the MOST important and BEST job I will ever have in my entire life. I really am so grateful for the opportunity I have to be home with my children. I'm so lucky to have found a husband who also knows the importance of Motherhood and loves and supports me and wants me here at home taking care of our children. I am truly blessed.

I also very much lucked out in the Mom department. My mom is an amazing woman. She has a special way of making me feel so loved and so beautiful. I know if I'm having a bad day and I call her that I will hang up feeling SO much better. She can make me smile by just hearing her voice. She was always there for me growing up and that's one of the reasons I really wanted to be a stay at home mom. My mom always had time for ME. She was always there when I got home from school, she was at every single one of my sports games ( she was on time and always made sure to bring me anything I needed - food, drinks, forgotten uniforms haha etc. ) she tried to help with homework, she was there to talk, she taught me to drive, helped me get ready for dances and dates she was there to take me places and help me get my first jobs. My mom was my biggest supporter and biggest fan and I will forever be grateful for her. Yesterday at my in laws we went around and said something nice about our Mothers. The first thing I thought of was how my mom always made me feel like I was the best. Any craft I made any hit I had in softball was always SO great in her eyes. She believed in me so much, that I started believing in myself. My mom gave me my confidence. I love you mom and I hope you know that I've always thought you were the best too!

I also have so many Moms in my life that I look up to. My Mother in law, Grandmas, Aunts, Sister, Sister in law, and my friends. I learn so much from all of them and I'm so blessed to have them in my life.

Happy Mothers Day! XOXO
