Its Monday...

Do the weeks fly by SO fast for you like they do me? Geez I cant believe were starting a whole new week and by Friday it will be OCTOBER...are you kidding me? Well I'm always behind on Mondays....we always need food...we were out of bananas this morning and Preston just about had a melt down about it...he loves bananas and could eat one for every meal...its a MUST HAVE in our house. ( I found this pic on my camera...I didn't take it so I'm guessing Spencer did haha )

Look at these blue eyes...he's going to be a lady killer for sure

He puts on our shoes now haha

Okay I had to add some cute pics to the post...Anyways...did you watch the General Relief Society Broadcast this Saturday? It was soooo good. I cried and I got to watch it with my sister...it was wonderful. They talked a lot on the history of the church and how we really need to study about it and a lot on visiting teaching. I really do have a testimony of visiting teaching. I have had the most amazing sisters come and visit me...they are the whole reason I feel so welcome and loved in our new ward. Its hard to meet new people and I think I'm just one of those people who have an extra hard time putting myself out there but I have made some wonderful new friends and I love them all so much. President Monson also spoke and his words touched me. He spoke on being non judgmental...looks aren't everything and mostly on loving and accepting everyone. One of my favorite parts of his talk was this...

Mother Teresa, a Catholic nun who worked among the poor in India most of her life, spoke this profound truth: “If you judge people, you have no time to love them.” The Savior has admonished, “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.” I ask: Can we love one another, as the Savior has commanded, if we judge each other? And I answer—with Mother Teresa—“No; we cannot.”

—President Thomas S. Monson

I of course have "judged" another but who am I to judge? I have numberless faults of my own...I love going to these meetings and leave spiritually fed and ready to make changes for the better in my own life. I am so grateful for this true church, a church who leads me in only doing good in the world.

That was my favorite part of his talk too! He is such an amazing speaker, he always captivates me in what he is saying while inspiring me to become better. I can't wait for this weekend when we get to listen to him again!
