Courtneys Here!...

Wow I've been slacking lately...Well I do have good reason! My sister Courtney is here visiting and playing with me and Corinne! She'll be here until next wednesday and I am loving all this time with her. Boy do I wish they lived closer...distance sucks. Well she hurt her foot pretty bad before she came so she's kinda been our little gimp and we can't do much thats active...which is totally not courtney so we've been trying to come up with some things to do. We made her a school bag which turned out completely adorable...I'll take a picture and post it before she leaves. And other than that weve been playing games and watching movies and laughing at Preston. 

Yesterday we took her to urgent care cause her foot was swelling really bad and not getting better. The Doc said she has a bad infection and should have gone in the day it happened and got stitches but it was too late for that now. So shes on antibiotic and will hopefully get better before volleyball next week! But she cant really walk on it so while in target she rode in the cart! haha Preston didn't know what to think but I'm sure he liked the company ha.

Well today we are going to do another craft and hang out with Corinne! I'm excited!

Weekend in Flag...

Friday night we went to Flagstaff to spend the weekend with Spencer's family. We were only able to stay until Sunday so it was a short fast trip. Here is what we were up to on Saturday...

We went to Red Lobster..mmmm...and Preston loved looking at the lobster. 

We rode the Ranger...and let Preston drive...haha

We enjoyed the fresh cool air and spent almost all of our time outside. It was perfect.

SL Last Days...

Saturday we had to get out of the house again so we ran up to walmart to get a few things and then went to this new deli place up in lakeside that was supposed to be kind of like "high in the pines" that used to be in Show Low.

At Walmart Preston rode a bull...we thought he'd be way excited and just love it but that was the biggest smile we got haha sometimes I get no emotion out of this kid!

This was at the Deli place...I can't remember what it was called but it was delish! Not exactly like high in the pines but they have very good sandwiches. I got a turkey sandwich on a croissant...mmmmm! Preston was pretty grouchy and tired while we were there...Court took him outside to play and then held him when they came back in...gosh my sisters are a huge help with him! 

Then on the way home one of Corinne's favorite songs came on and they jammed out and had a concert for Preston...

He absolutely loved it!

And even started Dancing!!!

That night we had a birthday party for my aunt debi...Veronica and Vanessa were over and they were playing with Preston. They were pushing him around on his train and then Preston started pushing Vanessa! It was pretty funny and he was actually strong enough to do it. Such a silly boy...

Sunday we went to my Grandma Bigelows house in snowflake. She has a dog that's super friendly and Preston just loved her! 

Preston watched a movie while we visited...

And we tried getting a picture with grandma but it didn't work too well!

And on Monday, our last day, we pretty much just chilled and watched the bachelorette that night. Preston was pretty into it haha!

Overall we had a lot of fun and it was super nice to get out of the heat and be able to spend our days outside instead of cooped up in the house! We always miss Spencer when were gone though and we were very excited to be back home with him. This weekend we are escaping again to Flagstaff but this time Spenc is coming with!

SL Park Day...

Friday we had to get out of my grandmas house because its up for sale and someone wanted to come see it so we decided to take Preston to the park. He slid down the slide all by himself for the first time. It's so fun to see him do new things.

He's walking SO good now and just looks so cute doing it. He loves stealing drinks out of moms strawberry slush, giving hugs to Aunt Court, Steering the steering wheel with Uncle Tanner and of course playing in dirt :). 

That night Corinne got into town and Me, her and Courtney went to the movies that night and saw Eclipse. They both had seen it already but I hadn't yet! It was fun to do something as sisters!!! I love those girls soooo much!

Show Low Day 1...

I thought I'd post all of mine and Preston's trip to Show Low in one post but I ended up taking A LOT of pictures and we actually did a lot of things while we were there that are worth talking about! We woke up Thursday morning and left around 7 am and went straight to Snowflake to see my friend Kacie that I honestly haven't seen for 5 years! It was SO nice to see her and meet her beautiful little girls ( that i totally failed to get a picture of...bummer! ) But we went to her house and then we went and ate at Eva's which I LOVE! Best mexican food on the Mountains for sure. I had such an awesome time chatting and catching up with her...I miss you Kacie!!

Neither of these pictures turned out very well but I love that I actually took them because I never remember to take pictures with my friends and who knows when we will get together again!

Then after lunch we headed to Show Low and went to Brandi's house! She got a bunch of toys out and the kids played while we visited! It was a blast. I loved that Preston got to play with some kids ( since he doesn't hardly ever get to ) and I love my Brandi and we always have a good time no matter what!

Here are some pics of Preston playing with Sydnee and Tytan! Boy did they make a mess but they had fun and that's all that matters! Brandi's kid's are sooo cute and sweet! We love them! And we also love little Raycer...he is just sooo precious! 

My mom totally looks cute in this pic...and Preston never smiles when I want him too haha but he was very excited to see Grandma, Uncle Tanner, and Aunt Court! 

After we left Brandi's we went to my Grandparents house where me and my family were all staying!

Preston immediately started showing off his walking skills and then dragged everyone around to where he wanted to go. My Grandparents have a huge nice deck that we stayed out on as late as we could and visited...the weather was perfect and rained every night...my favorite...I was in heaven! 

To say the least we were " Pooped " by the end of the day!

Me and Preston are leaving in the morning to Show Low to visit friends and family! I'm SO excited to see everyone and get out of this miserable heat! We'll be missing Spenc...love ya babe. We'll be back the first of next week!

It's HOT...

Wow these past few days are killing me...Its been average of about 109 degrees here lately and supposed to get hotter! Well to beat the heat today we got Preston's little pool out and we had some water fun.

He pretty much only wanted to play with the hose....so i let him haha.

He tried getting me with the water like a millions times...but i was too quick haha no but really he was aiming that thing at me and the camera like the whole time, i was getting kinda worried!

Then he'd accidentally get himself in the face with the hose and throw it down but he always came back for more...

Silly boy just wanted to explore our whole backyard...look at this crawl haha he looks like a monkey!

And of course I wanted a picture of the both of us but this is what he gave me...oh well...we had fun!

My poor sicky...

Last week Preston started getting his molars so he had a high fever, runny nose, loss of appetite...etc. Then he caught a cough that turned into the croup and when I took him to the doctor this morning to have him looked at they noticed he was starting to get ear infections! Gosh poor baby...He's had a hard time but he somehow found some energy today and was way excited when i gave him his cheesy puffs and let him hold the can by himself. haha ( don't worry it was like a 1/3 full ). He took it straight to "his" rocking chair, got comfy and enjoyed it.

His personality is really coming out and its so funny to me how particular he is. When I sit his cup on his tray with his lunch or dinner he makes sure that after he takes a drink he puts it back in the same spot. And today as he was trying to get in his chair he spilled some of his snack and he got down and put it all back ( except a few that he stuffed in his mouth ) but he really pays attention to where things go and he likes to put those things back haha. I'm kinda thinking he will be my clean organized kid...time will tell!

He also is such a good sharer with his food. Whenever hes eating something he wants to give us some too! Today while he was enjoying his snack I was laying on the couch watching him and talking to my mom on the phone. I started smiling at him and he got excited and got down from his chair and walked over to me with one of his puffs and stuck it in my mouth! haha! You can't refuse his snacks either...he gets sad or hell shove it so hard it smears all over your face. I'm just glad hes learning how to share!!!

He's still as goofy as ever and likes to have all attention on him and to make us laugh. He also learned how to pretend to get in trouble...the picture above he was staring at me and acting like he was going to throw his snacks all over the ground and I said " No Preston " and he stops and puts on a HUGE grin. Gosh...could I love him anymore!?

Date Night...

Spencer had gotten us some Diamondback all you can eat tickets for last night with some friends. We were planning on going as a family but Preston came down with an evil cough :( So grandma Coon watched him while we went. We went with a lot of the Anderson Family...Brandon and Dawn, Sunshine, Aaron and Katie, Josh and Jennifer, and Shawn and Angie. I sat and visited with Dawn and Sunshine pretty much the entire time and I loved it. Oh how I miss just chatting with the girls! And as much as i missed my sweet little boy it was kinda nice not having to deal with keeping him happy haha. So it ended up being a date night...which is SO unusual for us but it was fun!

Funny Story. We got back from the game to only Kristy being home. She was holding her hand and I asked her if she was okay and she said "No I burnt myself!" and I said "Oh I'm sorry Kristy, how did you do that?" She then began to explain that she was cooking eggs for Lacy ( their dog ). She went on to say " I just don't know what to do with her...Shes just such a picky eater. " Haha Oh how I love that girl! Shes sooo sweet and funny!

Well a little bit more on Preston. He's been teething...he's got a couple molars poking through now! He's had a real hard time with these teeth...high fevers, runny nose, really sleepy. And then to top it off he caught a cough. I was really worried about it yesterday cause it sounded a little like the whooping cough. But its gotten a TON better today. Thank Goodness!

My little walker...

Preston is now walking almost everywhere. He's known how to walk for a while now but just didn't feel like doing it but now he loves it and gets so excited when he makes it to his destination without falling. This video is mostly for my family in Utah since they don't get to see him that often. Isn't it funny how he has his hand out the whole time? haha he just looks so cute walking...oh and ignore my baby talk...PLEASE!

New Bookcase...

I've been redoing my living room " a little ". I've really only rearranged some furniture and bought a couple things...but to me it was a much needed change. The room feels much bigger and I've been trying to figure out a way to fit a bookcase in there and I finally figured out how and it looks sooo good. I think Preston really likes the bookcase as well...don't you think?

Now I've got to teach him to stay away from the bookcase...wish me luck!

Wakeboarding Clips...

Okay so first off dumb blogger wont let me upload this video with high resolution so when you make it big it looks horrible...so you'll have to keep the video small or its blurry...sorry! Secondly this is the first time I've made a movie so don't bash on my skills haha! This is at saguaro lake this weekend...doesn't he look so hott!? This is one of the things Spencer LOVES to do!

The 4th celebrations...

We really didn't do too much for the 4th of July this year :(. We missed any kind of parade and only made it for about 3 min of fireworks...sooo sad. But Saturday we had a BBQ with some friends and ate good food and swam...it was alot of fun.

Here is Preston and Saylor eating some yummy watermelon...they also had hot dogs which both of those foods were firsts for Preston...and he loved it of course!

Then we went outside to swim and after we were done we let the kids play outside. Preston loved filling that bus up with rocks and then spreading the rocks all over the place haha. And cute little Saylor over there would put rocks in her mouth and chew on them...silly girl!!

Sunday night we thought fireworks started at 930 but I guess it started at 9 so we only got to see a few which was a total bummer after watching how excited Preston was to see them. He would point to them and smile and he actually sat still to watch them! 

For some reason my camera won't go in focus like every other picture so this one is blurry but I had to post it because of how Preston is giving his daddy a hug. Preston LOVES his daddy!

And here is me and my lover at the fireworks show. He looks cute and I look weird...its the only one we took so whatever! ha!

Lake Day 2...

Spencer talked me into going to the lake again...what a sweet wife i am... i know haha jk but we got up at 3:15 this morning!!! The water was pretty crappy though today but it was a little more fun anyways cause Alyssa and Johnny were able to come with us. Spencer pulled his arm and his bicep started hurting him really bad so he only went out there once...actually now that I think about it everyone only went out once.
