2010 Recap...

Here is a little recap of 2010...It was a good year for us, I think 2009 topped 2010 though so maybe 2011 will be the best yet! But anyways this is what our year was full of...in case you missed it :)

January:

 Preston really started to move around and got crawling down to a "T". My parents also came to Phoenix for a weekend.

February:

 Preston got his first haircut, we spend our 3rd Valentines together, I stopped breastfeeding and Preston got even more wild!

March:

 We went to the lake, the wildlife zoo and a car show. Me and Preston also flew to Utah for my Moms birthday!

April:

  My parents were here for Easter and Preston got a new big boy car seat! He also started taking steps with a walker :)

May:

  Preston turned 1! We also had family pictures taken and went on a vaca to California! Preston also had his first dental appt.

June:

  Me and Preston took another trip to Utah, we went to the lake and tried out the Flow Rider!

July:

  Lots of Trips to the lake, me and Preston went to Show Low to visit family and we took a trip to Flagstaff. Me and Spenc also went to a baseball game!

August:  

Me and Spenc spent our 3 year Anniversary in Flagstaff! We made a little trip to the Grand Canyon and also went fishing for the first time together. 

September:

  September was full of play dates...sea life aquarium, the mall, pools and water play areas!

October:

  Lots of Halloween activities...Pumpkin patch, pumpkin carving and trick or treating! Spenc also had to go to the hospital for pneumonia :( 

November:

  Spencer turned 25! Me and Corinne had a girls weekend and we also went to the wildlife zoo. My family came here for Thanksgiving!

December:

  Lots of Christmas Activities that I just posted about! And I turned 23!

Hope everyone has a fun New Years Eve! We are getting on a plane this morning to Utah! I can't wait to be on vacation!!! Great way to start the new year...if i say so myself!

Christmas day...

After opening Christmas presents at our own house we got ready and opened presents at Spencers parents house. By the time we were done it was already 1 pm! So we took Preston home for a nap and then went back over to the Coons to play outside and have dinner. Preston sure did enjoy playing with the kickball...

I know my posts are totally random and back and forth from Christmas to Christmas Eve and then Christmas again....but I had to get our Christmas pics posted as soon as I could for my parents to see in Utah. But I skipped posting a few things so I had to go back and post them. So sorry!

Christmas Eve Party...

The Coons get together every year on Christmas Eve for dinner and a White Elephant gift exchange. This year we had it over at Grant and Jills. 

Preston finds this car everytime we go over there...he loves it!

 

Us eating dinner...yes mine and Tiffanys eyes are closed dang it...but look how cute Preston is just patiently waiting for some dinner haha!

All the kids ended up sitting on the same couch for the gift exchange...so when Danny and Alyssa came we got a whole "Cousin" picture taken.

Our playset...

We love the playset....we've been outside everyday since Christmas. I forgot to add some pics of Spenc putting it up on Christmas Eve...he's such a good daddy!

On days like these I really do love the valley. I was talking to my mom and she was shocked that we were playing outside. I'm so glad we aren't cooped up inside all winter ( even though i coop myself inside with the A/C during the summers ). The weather is perfect, notice spenc in basketball shorts and a tshirt haha.

Christmas 2010...

This year for Christmas we got Preston a swing set! I was WAY excited when we found one on Craigslist that we could afford and that was still nice and pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Our backyard is now a fun place for Preston to play...I LOVE it. And he does too...we'll be out there everyday I'm sure.

Preston sure is a spoiled boy. He got a lot of really fun stuff this year for Christmas...

Funny thing is...everyone thought a like this year. He got a few of the same things...not exactly a like but similar. He got some dump trucks, play tents, swing set, new clothes, wagon with outdoor toys, movies, toy story figurines, and more!

I also had a fabulous Christmas this year :). I ended up getting a couple things off my list like new black run tone reebok shoes and more armani code purfume from spenc! I got 2 adorable cardigans and some jewelry and some money too!

Danny and Alyssa had a necklace made with Spencer and Prestons name on it...I am in love with it! I have been wanting one for a long time now... Isn't it cute!?

Spencer this year got new snowboarding gloves, beanie, a couple shirts, snowbaording passes ( for while were in Utah ), poker chip set, xbox live headset, belt and some money!

We had a Wonderful Christmas this year...Hope yours was just as good!

Christmas Eve 2010...

One of the traditions I have always done as a little girl was opening up pajamas on Christmas Eve. I LOVE this tradition and have passed it onto my family...

Last year I added books to the present and wanted to do that again...so that may be my new tradition...pajamas and a book :). 

Now I'm off to bed...I need to be asleep when santa gets here! ;)

Bubbles, Buckles, Birthday, and our Backyard...

Preston learned how to blow his own bubbles...he is pretty proud of himself when he does it too haha!

Today is Christmas Eve...can you believe it!? I hope you all have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!

It is also my sister Corinne's 21st birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SISTER! It is really weird not spending Christmas Eve as a whole day to party. We really lived it up back in the day...huge birthday bash all day and then our Christmas Eve party at night. It's hard having to miss out on things but I hope your birthday is awesome sis! Love you TONS!

It's beginning to look alot like...

Christmas? Christmas here in the valley of the sun is a little different than what I'm used to. It's more like the beginning of Fall. The leaves are falling and its gorgeous, the weather is perfect for a cute light jacket, and its been raining the last few days. I've totally been loving the weather but to me it still doesn't feel like Christmas. Were missing fires to keep us warm, the need for hot chocolate, big coats, scarves and gloves. I've also noticed to lack of "Merry Christmas" 's while I'm shopping. People aren't as friendly this year... But regardless Christmas really is only 2 days away! I seriously can't believe how quickly it came this year. I'm really REALLY excited to spend Christmas with Preston this year. We got him some really fun stuff and he's old enough to open his own presents and will get excited about new toys. 

Yesterday we played with leaves and spent a lot of time outside...

I have this BEAUTIFUL purple tree in my front yard that I am just in love with. 

And when the wind blows it blows over some yellow leaves as well. 

The other morning we woke up to Fog. We don't get Fog here in the valley very often and it was so pretty! Spencer took these pictures on his way to work...
